Been extremely bored recently....Anyone know anything fun to do thats cheap? And yea id get a job if someone would hire me. Kinda looking into Games or something hell idk...Just been very bored.

If it's not raining, I ride my bike. I'll ride for miles and miles, hours and hours. I don't know if the OP is old enough to drink, so I won't suggest that. However, nothing cures a case of boredom better than a case of beer and some friends.

When you have nothing to do the best instrument to pick up is drums, thats how i did it. Ive been playing for almost 4 years now, been in a band for 2, and played alot of shows and been paid alot of money. HOWEVER drummings very friggin expensive, in my career i couldve bought a whole ps1c kit for my car.

My dad has been playing bass for 35 years and has been playing with bands for about 30 of those years. He is a very well known local musician and has paid in several well known Tampa/Lakeland area southern rock/blues bands and some that aren't so well known. Anyway, he has played a lot of shows. For about 1.5 years, he was jamming damn near every weekend; Friday and Saturday nights. He was lucky if he made $100-$200 a gig (in a 4 or 5 piece band in maybe a 2 hour set or so), and that is considered a ******* steal. He doesn't play for the money, though. He plays because he loves to. Oftentimes, he would play for free and not even bat an eye about it. He's played for free more times than he's paid for money.
I'm not trying to be mean, but I just think that 'a lot' of money can't really be made in only 2 years of amatuer gigs. I've been there, I've done that, I've seen it and I live it.
For the record, your drumming is not considered a 'career'. It is a hobby. You can't call it a 'career' until you make enough money off playing in a band to live off off completely.

Jeez this is ridiculous, i almost went and played maplestory...ive never played it before it looks gay as hell..but im THAT bored. Runescape is a hell no, WOW is too exspensive and my computer cant handle IE let alone a game..HELP ME!!!!
