Went and saw this in IMAX 3D opening night. this movie is visually INCREDIBLE. I really enjoyed it.
unfortunately an hour in, the massive 3D was too much for me and I had to leave I got super motion sick. my friends tell me I was the only one too..lol.
So I went and saw it again in 2D.
go see it!

I just saw it, it was meh. 7/10 at best. 3 hours long, lots of action and pretty visuals so of course people are going to say it was awesome. But the plot was not original at all, scripting was pretty lawl and political jabs and symbolism seemed too blatant. Good action/adventure flick, nothing groundbreaking in the story, nothing that made me 'change the way I look at movies,' except for the fact it was 3d and the ground lit up as they walked on it. You could tell exactly how the movie was going to pan out after the first 20 minutes of it, and I don't really like that in movies.

I want to see this movie based simply on some of the techincal aspects of the filming.. Some of the interviews that I have seen on G4 from the creators were really interesting, the actual filming of this movie was apparently done in a completely different way than any other "3D" movie in the past.
Definitely interested to see what the newest technology has been able to produce and I will probably go see it after Christmas.
Put me on the "*** boat" I really don't give a damn what anyone thinks.

I've seen some episodes of Avatar on TV before, it was an alright show at the time. I was 13 or 14. I don't think it looks that bad. I wouldn't mind watching it, but I would mind going out of my way to do so.

From what I was told it has no relation to the cartoon or whatever but I'm in the theater right now waiting for it to begin so I'll let ya know what I think in about 3 hours or so lol

Those girls are not hot enough to make watching the shows worth it IMO.

I only catch Attack of the show every once in a blue moon (maybe once or twice a month) and Olivia Munn is actually a pretty ******* funny chick.
