Default There go my mods...

So my car is now paid off!!!! Time for mods, right?! NOT. I was going to sell my stang a few months ago because it didn't make sense to keep it since it was crashed and gave me so many issues. Well, I figured it would be cheaper to pay it off and save for another car.

Only the problems never stopped. First, the radiator has a crack and i havent been able to replace it because of lack of $. Next, the tires had to be replaced because they were bald (worse than Pee's way back then). Third, the ac was giving problems only blowing hot air, and when i'd turn it on, the lights inside the car would shutter and turn off. Then, my car was busted into and had my macbook stolen. And now, this.

I was planning on fixing all the little problems and start modding when I paid off my car in November. Well, I paid it off yesterday and today in the morning my tire blows out and takes a chunk of my bumper with it. I was just told, too, that car's always screw up around the time they're paid off. And i thought it was just a myth.

I've never had a car payment so I can't say if stuff happens after u pay them off. Man that sucks with that payment gone that money could start being put towards all the stuff u wanted

That's just shitty luck man. My car was paid off back in like May and now I have a supercharger. **** happens, just something you gotta deal with. You'll get back to modding.

Oh well, time for a Cobra/GT bumper.

PS. You can't blame that on the car being paid off, you blame that on not replacing your tires when they started showing cords. They do come apart, unfortunately for you, looks like it came apart while you were moving fairly quick.

What he means is. Were your tires showing a whole lot of wear before the tire blew? Some people will take it to the extreme and go past seein no tread, to seeing steal belts, then seeing air.. LOL. In all fairness though looks like the tread just blew off most your tire, probably because of highway speed blowout. Sucks either way. Rotate your tires, and lay off doing burnouts.

I had a GT bumper and I'll be getting another one
What I meant to say about the car being paid off was that there's some sort of taboo that when someone is done paying their car or dealer warranty expires, that's when all the problems start to show up. I just meant to say that it happened to me, and by no means would i think that paying off my car has any direct correlation to my car and it's problems.

Rebelyell, thanks! lol I had actually just swapped my tires out. I had some friends tell me it's funny how i had been driving for weeks with bald tires and nothing happened with them, but my new tires popped in less than a month of use. lol

I'm not too worried about it, though. my brother is paying for both repairs (freakin' awesome) .

That's nice to have a brother do that for you. I have an older brother, who still loves at home with my mom. . Smokes pot all day, and watches TV. Damm he's Awesome.. But at least he did find a Hooker girlfriend ( My wife and I met her while visting my mom) who shares his interests, smoke pot, watch TV, and drain my mothers bank account.. Dammit, I knew I shouldn't have started this. Sorry didn't mean to hijack.. Now I pissed off again..
