Default CAI = Best Upgrade!

Sorry if this is in the wrong place...

Okay first of all their not. But I was walking through o'rileys last night with a friend of mine who was buying oil and one of the guys working there was walking down the isle we were in and he said: "if your going to buy ANYTHING for your car buy a Cold Air Intake" (and yes he did express the word anything like I did) so I laughed and walked out of the store. What is this guy thinking?

Oh and my new rims come in tomorrow, 17x9 '03 Cobras =] cant wait!!

That's the import mentality, I guess......

The only reason to buy any CAI is because it's pretty looking...........lol

A cold air intake is good for more than just looks...They provide a sturdy mounting point for a nitrous nozzle

How about that Turbonator thing? I thought someone here was gonna try that, and see if they gained the extra HP it claims. Dammit. My guess is after a few miles you'll have little metal pieces in your engine when it falls apart..

I'm sure the guy at the auto parts store was a ricer, but I CAI's do make a difference in the 3v and 4v engines.....more so in the 3v's I think.
