I think it takes a few years to be able to grow a decent beard. In your early twenty's most beards look like a mass of pubic hairs. LOL.. Then as you age a bit and the hairs get more organized and straighten out a bit, and you get rid of the thin spots. Then you can trim and stuff to make it look right. But believe me, by your mid 30's, even if your hair on your head hasn't gone salt and pepper, your beard will, and mustach follows suit..
I'll get a pic of mine on Sunday, that will be 1 week with no shave. I have minimal gray head hair, but my facial hair is almost pure white.. Been like that since 1996.. LOL.

****....I shaved today around noon, and about 9 pm I touched my face and felt stubble. Cant remember the exact number, but as soon as you shave, your hair immediately starts growing back at some ungodly number over some ungodly amount of seconds..

. After a whole week it gets kinda softer, but itches like crazy. I haven't gone more than a week without shaving, and clogging up at least 2 good news blades in a long while. I'll see how long I can last. 2 weeks will probably be enough for me.. I'll get a pic when my beard reaches optimal annoyance. But date night is soon approaching, and dam I'll just be careful.. LOL..
