Default AM parts coming pre-painted?!?

I was just searching AM for all the parts I want but can't afford and saw that some of the exterior products are coming pre-painted, i got very excited. Just wanted to share my excitement with my fellow members lol. Here's the site. http://blog.americanmuscle.com/first...unch-10-26-09/

I'd still rather have my body shop do the work. It's a great idea though and a much better option for some I'm sure!

pretty cool. i know it would save a lot of ppl time and money to have that done. and americanmuscle has always had a great reputation for customer satisfaction, so i'm sure they have gotten themselves well trained auto painters.

yeah there such a great company so i doubt they would put out products that are poorly painted. I'll be buying some products in the near future so i'll see how they look.

I saw this advertised in my newest issue of 5.0 and was impressed. AM has really grown into a large company from years ago when they were MustangTuning.com.

That's pretty awesome! I'm always worried about those Ebay shops that sell prepainted stuff, but I know I can trust AM.

yeah no kidding, I felt like they were fairly small when they were mustangtuning, and now they are splattered across the web and every major mustang magazine, it's very cool, plus they have kept awesome customer service and expanded there inventory with good brand name products.

Yup, not only are our paint team members well trained, but they are also very experienced auto painters. I have to say I am very impressed with their work.

There are a ton of parts to paint, so it will be a graduated roll-out. We'll be releasing the 05-09 parts first, then the 99-04, and so on and so forth.

Will the pre-painted parts just be small parts, or might we see some pre-painted hoods? That would be sweet.

It seems like I'm like most all of you. We want the hoods to come pre-painted. I wants me a 95 cobra style hood

Small parts at first. Hood scoops, chin spoilers, side scoops, louvers, etc. Larger items pose logistical problems shipping and having them get to you safely. The whole point of pre-painted parts is convenience and value to you the customer, and its pretty inconvenient if we had to do a lot of shipping damage claims. If we can do it in a way that we can ship them and keep damage claims down then you will see them offered too!

Yup, Xoxide has been sold and is no longer part of us. But we are still the same company as before! We just couldn't give Xoxide the attention it deserved. Plus now we have even more room for AM inventory...that means more parts for you!

No time table as of yet. There are logistical problems with the older years we have to solve first. Mainly since your cars have been on the road a lot longer, they have been exposed to uv radiation, road salt, environmental contaminants, etc. much longer and we are working to find a way to as closely match the majority of the cars on the road as possible. Rest assured that when we do release them, they will be the best possible match you can buy in a pre-painted part.

AM has always been behind the products they sell, more so then other companies out there. I've always been happy with them!
