I'm more upset about the damn grammar ***** wasting space on the first page. Sucks for that guy that lost part of his pinky, but it couldn't have turned out much better for him. Only the tip of his left pinky, if they could have reattatched it that would have been good. Also, did I understand this right? Did he stick his pinky into a hole where the bolt was and then when the bolt pulled out the movement sheared his pinky off? If that is the case then that guy is very stupid. I'm glad none of you guys are lil bitches about how I, or most people on this board, spell unless it's really bad.

I understand that "accidents happen", but sometimes a little common sense goes a long way. Seems like if some people had one more brain cell, they'd have company.

Edit: Anyone ever notice the irony in the phrase "common sense"? I don't believe that "common sense" is common at all. Seems like hardly anyone has it nowadays.

Agreed.

Those other pictures of that guy's hand are pretty gnarly. That's some serious ****-in-your-pants inducing stuff. I just think it's crazy how his fingers are ripped off, yet he made damn sure someone took pictures. "Oh ****! My fingers are ripped off! I need to get to the hospital! But hold on... gotta make sure I get some pictures to show the dudes on the forum first!"

LOL. Geez He probably severed the nerves pretty good but I'll bet he is hurting for a while. The tips of your fingers are the most sensitive.. Plus he got 3 of them throbbing at the same time.. I'd be begging for a percocet or 3..

Why do so many people think it's a good idea to clean their chains while the bike's running? I just don't get it.

Damn that would suck.

I don't own a bike but couldn't you lift the bike on a swingarm stand, put it in neutral and spin the wheel by hand to access the entire chain? Why are these guys doing it with the bike running and in gear?

When I was eight I was playing with my babysiter's dog kinda rough, a chocolate lab, I was on the ground rolling around with him and such. Well, he bit my ear and the next thing I knew I had a quick sharp pain in my ear and blood dripping onto my shoulder. I put my hand under my ear and walk to the bathroom to look at it, it looks pretty mangled and there was a pool of blood in my hand from holding it under my ear. I walk to the kitchen to get some paper towels and then go tell my babysitter. She called my Mom and then we went to go get me stitched up. I don't remember it hurting a whole hell of a lot. It could have been the shock of it or something but the needles with the pain killing stuff they gave me at the hospital hurt more. I don't think the dog ment to do it, he was a good dog. Sorry, I don't have any pictures, I was eight. MY ear wasnt half as bad as those guys. I think my ear looks normal and the scars from the stitches are pretty much gone.

If you think that guy with the bike is bad, you should have seen the pics that a guy posted on one of my other forums. A guy and his friends were taking turns putting firecrackers in their mouths, and seeing who could keep them in there the longest. Needless to say the ******* idiot kept it in there too long, and it exploded. The "after" picture reminded me of Jeff Goldblum after he became the Fly . I nearly threw up after I saw that. Some people are just so ******* stupid.

That's another reason why you remove the control arm bolts and not the strut bolts to change a spring. It also helps if you have enough sense to put the jack in the right place. I guess the missing finger is enough punishment so I won't call him a dumbass. Oops!

I saw an idiot do the exact same thing with a black cat firecracker. LOL, you could see his lips flapping when the short fuse blew, We were kids and he was acting like it was a cigarette, burned his fingers and his whole mouth. He said my whole face feels numb.. LOL. we all laughed and called him a dumbass..

I have still, Yet, to finish watching the bridge guy with the split face. That is truly Ogrish.com material there, and I had to quit watching vids like that.. I guess with age comes empathy. I just can't help to wonder what his parents must have felt.. Hell I can't even stand to see a squirrel get run over in the road.. I'm getting too soft..
