So getting a new phone tomarrow and idk what to get. I want an iphone but have heard of nothing but troubles and idk if it would be worth the extra iphone charge due to i dont live in a 3g area. I got my gf the lg zenon and it's a pretty nice phone and debating on just picking one up instead give me your thoughts...

 

i personally love my iphone! i havent had any problems that apple hasnt fixed immediately or that they just havent replaced my phone to fix it. Ive had zero problems in the last 4 months. and i dont even use the 3g service unless im not near a wifi spot, because it drains your battery. EDGE work just as well IMHO.

 

Nothing wrong with Iphones, 3g anyway, can't speak for OMG 3GS

the 3gs isn't too bad 199 for the 16gig or they have the regular 3g 8gig for 99bux

 

For sure. I pay a $120 monthly bill for my iPhone and it's worth every penny of it.
I don't believe there is a better phone available to public.

Edit: I have the 3GS and love it. record videos and instantly upload to youtube. plus the voice recognition system is CRAZY. All you have to do is hold the home button and say "call ___" It also works with the built in ipod. "Play music" "Next Song" or "Play music by ___" it works 95% of the time too.

 

I just got an iPhone a month ago and fell in love with it. I couldn't go back to using any other phone. Jailbreak it and it's perfect. Hell I'm posting this right now from my iPhone. I'd say a good 25% of my posts are from it.

 

A few people at the the place I worked at over the summer had iPhones. They really are pretty sweet. Also, very expensive.

You can't yet I don't believe. Not sure if they updated that yet or not. That always baffled me as to if the iPhone is the best phone ever, that it can't do a simple MMS message. I'm happy with my Samsung Omnia Windows Mobile phone. Can essentially do anything an iphone can do.

 

nice! I dont think you can picture text on the iphone yet. I'm not sure about the 3gs. you will eventually...at&t and apple are arguing about it.

good call on the 3gs. my buddy makes apps for the iphone and he says the S is 10x faster.

 

i like it so far should i jailbrake it? Does it void your warrenty?

 

Picture messages will be working next Friday. If you're worried about voiding your warranty just put the old firmware back on before you take the phone to AT&T for service.

Don't get an iphone if you don't live in a 3g coverage area. It will be really slow using Edge and my battery lasts fine using 3g but I also charge it while I sleep every night... no big deal to me

Do NOT get a Palm Pre or any other Sprint PDA or you will ******* hate life.

You can get MMS without updating. I'm on 3.0 and have had MMS for about a week now.

ive had an iphone, iphone 3g, iphone 3gs and a bb storm and pearl... not proud.. just affraid of commitment lol and may i say you will not be sorry for iphone they are best phone on planet as long as you have the $$ to back it up.. and since ur on a mustang site i would hope a phone bill would be no problem for u... speaking of bad commitment.. bored of my silver stang.. anyone have a green one to trade? shinny.. lmao 8)
