I would like to add another mod as well. But its hard to find someone who doesn't start **** with everyone and keeps it cool.
Ryan is a very neutral person and keeps out of the **** storms that happen here. Thus why we felt he would be a good mod. Also its a group choice and not up to one person like I am assuming your thinking is what happened here.

How long you have been here is a very very small part of the reason why a person is asked to be a mod. Its more of a question of are they a neutral person who doesn't start crap with others. Which is why many of the people who have been here a long time can't be mods.

It does kind of suck though that someone that hasn't been a part of the MB community for very long is made a mod when others who have been around longer and who have volunteered to help have been overlooked. Not necessarily me, but there are a lot of folks who have been here way longer and contribute more to the forum as a whole. Understandable though, this is a privately owned forum and in no way any kind of a democracy, so obviously those who are closest to the person/ people in power will most likely be chosen over those who are not.

For what it is worth, if anyone on here would like to be a moderator, all it takes is a single Stephen4036 and next thing you know you cant win no matter what you do.

Lol. Well, we don't have too much of an issue, a few asshats here and there but that isn't too bad. Most of the time I think our mods just sit around get rid of spam, watch the "for sale" section and move threads.

The Florida connection is undeniable.
Its ok, I've modded at 2 seperate local forums...local as in, I personally know the people who run the forums...or personally know the moderators...like in the case of the Florida connection.
Being a mod sucks. Been there several times... dont wanna re-visit. It's stifling.
normally you need to be a dick to be a mod... I just didnt wanna be that guy.
