Well after getting laid off almost 6 months ago I finally had a good interview yesterday. I got a call back today to schedule a second interview with the general manager. I am as happy as a pig in **** right now. Wish me luck.

When I bought my CD player and subwoofer from there, the customer service was awesome. With that being said, I think you'd be great in that position. You are a very personable and approachable person. Haha, you should print this out and show it to them.

I'm happy that you might actually get a job, Matt. Except now you'll have a legitimate excuse for not being able to make it to the meets.

 

They do seem like they pride themselves on customer service and thanks for the compliment.

I might still make some of the meets but either way I'm excited to get back to work.

BIG WOOT FOR ME! There was a mix up with the interview time for tomorrow so I went in today to confirm the interview time and they gave me my second interview on the spot. End result: "You're hired as long as your drug test and background check come back ok". I start my training on Sept. 21st.

Thanks everyone. Vacations are great but not when they last six months and you're broke LOL.

 

I got a call from the store manager today and I got the job for sure! So did my best friend and one of my old coworkers.

 

Hell yeah man, I'm excited for you. Congrats, I know how it feels to be stuck at home with NO money, feels good to be working when you get back on your feet. Once again, congrats.

Congrats! Things are slowly starting to pick up...unfortunately in my county, we normally get hit a year or two later ...so we're slowing down now...

Well, I'm off work until october regardless, but theres always some sort of work around here.. just things will be a little more scarce..
