No kidding. The only time I go to the theaters are when other people are paying for me. I won't pay for that crap.

saw it last night and was definitely a sweet movie, could definitely rock a sequel to it.

Thought it was ok but could have been alot better IMO. I felt it was kind of a let down if you want to know the truth.

i just thought there would be a lot more action to it, dont get me wrong here, there was a lot of **** and people getting blown up but its just that the story got real dry in a lot of parts. i lost interest during the movie and almost fell asleep. i didnt realize that this was a documentary style movie... looks like there may be a sequel to this movie also. other than that the previews prior to the movie starting were probably the best part! the scorcese film looks like it will be a badass thriller, i cant wait for it to hit the theaters.

that was the first time in a long time since i have left a theater in disappointment...the last time being when i seen "the happening"

This review pretty much sums up the way I feel about the movie:

If only the screenwriters (Blomkamp and Terri Tatchell) had invested more energy in developing the film's humanist themes and anti-corporate satire, rather than milking action sequences and an overly sappy subplot with Wikus' wife, the movie could have achieved the literary punch they seemed to be going after.

I'm interested to see how that will be as well, but it didn't get that great of reviews when it was screened at Cannes. I believe Tarantino went back and recut some of the footage though. Should be entertaining though.

I do want to see District 9 though. all the reviews I've seen have all been really good. Every has their own preferences on movies though. That's why critics suck and are worthless.

Yes!! Looks Awesome.

And, I haven't been in a movie theatre mood lately, but I thought about going to see District 9... and yeah, Final Destination. Not going to lie.

The Final Destination looks ******' stupid..I mean...all the other ones were, so Im not expecting anything more from this one. Judging from the trailers Ive seen, it looks like a majority people that die, get killed by something flying through the air...

This movie was badass! it seemed a little long but that was probably because I wasn't intoxicated enough.

Saw it yesterday and loved it . Excellent movie. I was amazed at how long it seemed, considering the fact that it is actually a very short movie. It was also an amusing experience as well, because the the theater we were in was partially flooded from the rain we had. So we weren't able to sit in the 2nd or 3rd row like we usually do. It was interesting though seeing a small lake under the screen..

this was a great movie....gives us a look at the evils of man, south african aparthied and the real life relocation of a ghetto called district 6 in cape town, south africa.....while entertyaining us with aliens and special effects.

this is not a typical summer action flick, this is much deeper and darker.

peter jackson is a genius....
