No more fun =(
The economy in Michigan is hitting me too hard and I finally have to get rid of the stang. My winter beater is almost done for and with my hours being cut back I can't afford two cars anymore. So I'm taking advantage of the cash for clunkers and I'll be selling the stang as well. Time to get something with better gas mileage..but I sure will miss her. Hopefully when I finish school I can find a better job and get back into the Mustang world. More power next time

Good Luck man. I hear MI has been hit hardest by the recession, and I hope you can get by til things get better. I'm surprised more people on these boards haven't been in the same boat.. You got a great looking stang so maybe you can get a good price for her..

I think he's gonna trade the winter beater in on Cash for Clunkers, not the 'Stang.
Either way, that sucks dude.. I know what it's like to have to do it though.. Been there, done that.

Yeah.. I was talking to the local Ford dealer about that CFC program while my mothers car was being repaired.. They fill the cylinders and crankcase with saltwater . Once that's done they record the VIN and "black flag" it, to make sure the car or any of it's parts cannot be sold. Then it's off to the crusher. I didn't want that happening to my Audi, which is why I sold it outright rather than submitting to the program (even though the program would have given me a little more $$$.)

Sorry to hear it man. times are defainatly tough... right now in colorado our economy is stronger than most other states, i still have 3 friends who have been out of work for quite some time.
hate to see any stang hit the crusher though. if you C4C the stang return aas much to stock as humanly possible.

Hokie, sorry to hear about you having to get rid of it. When you're in the market for a replacement, I hope you find an awesome one.

Thanks for the concern! Didn't mean to confuse you guys..I would never crush my car haha. My winter beater will be getting crushed. I'm going to try to sell the car this fall but I'm not holding my breathe. I'm thinking next spring is a more realistic sell time. It'll be a couple years at the very least, but I'll definitely be driving one again. There's always some beauties in the Detroit craigslist haha

I was gonna say please don't crush that car.
On a side note a Dodge dealer here in Boone,NC has a decent looking 3rd gen Rx7 in a big *** dumpster in front of there dealership with a cash for clunkers sign on it. I laughed a little bit when I saw it.
