The 7.5 has 2 bad wheel bearings and a leaky differential

so instead of fixing all that **** I bought myself a full 8.8 rear from a 97 GT with 80k on the clock it should show up next week

400 bucks to fix my **** and upgrade to LSD. It also has a slightly better gear ration 3.27 instead of my 2.73 but I doubt I will feel much difference there.

Nice upgrade dude! You'll definitely feel a difference, but I don't think it'll be much more of a difference between the 3.27 and 3.55. Either way, congrats on the upgrade!

 

nice! now just get some wheel spacers and your good to go. the 94-98 rear end is narrower than the 99-04 rear by i think like 2" i think.

 

congrats....and swap out those 3.27's and get 3.73's

 

Sweet now you just need some nitrous to really use that stronger rear end

anyway the plans that are in the making are that my buddy and me may start our own N2O bottleing thing out of his dads shop cause there is quite literally no one that sells anywhere near us (closest guy is more than 30 miles away) so we may be able to make a little money and run it in our cars at cost.

nothing is for sure though we need to see if there is even any demand in the area
