Ok guys you can rag on me when you comment but can you answer the question also
So I have a 95 V6 manual
I have a hard time keeping my rpms high while racing burning out etc
I know it is not bc it is a v6 bc this guy i no can keep the rpms damn near 4500 all the way through 3rd (have asked him but not all that intelligent to articulate it)

my rpms just drop when i go from 1st to 2nd
how do u keep them high
what do i need to do
i no some people mention power shift but what are u doing then

Your rpm is gonna drop when you shift, if you think the rpm is dropping too low then shift later, practice shifting so the time between gears is faster, get a short through shifter, or a combo of the 3.

Power shifting is when you don't (completely) let off the gas when changein gear

EDIT: powershifting isnt really good for the car and is kinda risky cause if you miss the next gear you'll sit at redline
