He will be missed by some... If it wasn't for him a lot of the music today wouldn't be the same...

Love him or hate him, the guy was a musical genius and really was the "King of Pop". His controversial self aside, you have to mourn the loss of a human being and definitely mourn the loss in the music community. I am openly disappointed in the reaction of members on this forum already...just the lack of maturity in it's own is below every single one of you. I, personally don't give a crap about what he was accused of, I'll remember Michael Jackson the musician. I'm was never a fan of Michael Jackson the person, but I was a fan of Michael Jackson the one who started the moon walk, the one who created "Thriller".

Rest in Peace, Micheal (and FF...very sad).

Yeah...and I bet when it's Pete Townsends time to go, people will have completely forgotten the whole Child Pornography thing that he had jail time for.

But my whole thing is that it's too easy and juvenile to point out the faults in someone who has passed. It takes a man to realize the good in everyone and what good even a twisted soul has brought to the world.

Just because he was the self appointed "king of pop" does not escuse him for being a dirtbag.

He was a child molester who managed to repeatedly buy his way out of trouble.

I feel for his family, and wish the best for his children, but i wont waste a second of my time mourning that dirtbags death.

Are you high?

so hitler was an ok guy he was just a little misguided?

The unibomber was really a nice person we should miss?

Just cause he died that means that everything is ok and those kids he scarrred for life will be dandy?

It doesent take a MAN to look past a child molesters ways, it takes an idiot.

Was he convicted? No. It is all speculation, and he was condemned by the public. Do I think he actually did any of the stuff? I don't know. But remember someone for the good that they've brought to the world (if any), I should say. Hitler was a douchebag that invaded my motherland of Poland and shouldn't be remembered for anything positive.
But LML had a great quote on twitter this morning that I find is very fitting for this:

"The optimist sees the rose and not its thorns; the pessimist stares at the thorns, oblivious to the rose. -Kahlil Gibran"

He died, which sucks for him, but I'd rather not be too cold about it. I couldn't care less though.

Kahil Gibran is a blind idiot who refuses to accept reality and would rather pretend the atrocities dont exist in order to live in a false world where everything is good.

"The Idiot sees the rose, not the thorns and gets stabbed. The Intelligent appreciates the beauty of the rose, but respects the thorns" - Jack

The problem si not that he was arrogant, the problem is not he was a jerk occasionally, the problem is he routinley and admittedly put himself in situations with children that were in no way appropriate. While he was not convicted of child molestation, it is pretty hard to ignore the rest of the signs.

If i smell ****, and i see ****, i dont have to taste it to know it is ****.

lol.

I'm not saying completely ignore the signs, just put them aside for a second to realize the true loss in the world. Everyone has their faults, and he surely has his share of them but it is really immature to reflect on someone just based on that. Not all was bad, negative stuff. He's done good in this world, too. Just look at all he's done for the music industry. It really is way too easy to judge someone for their faults, and the time for that with Michael has come and gone. Respect the positives in a life that was, and move on. Quit kicking the corpse, dude.

Anything positive he has done is severely tarnished by his atrocities.

I'd rather mourn for Farrah Fawcett and not Jackson... He had serious issues and definitely wasn't sane with his stunts that he's been pulling recently. Who the **** goes to court in pajamas or hangs his kid off a balcony???

And I kind of lost respect for the music industry when they charged someone 75,000 for each song for the 5 songs that they downloaded.... the music industry blows ***** and has been pretty douchebagish as well.. Make more than 1 good song on an album and maybe people will buy the CD

And admittantly sleeps in the same bed with other peoples children and forces his kids to wear masks, and has been accoused of child molestation multiple times, there was a LOT that was not right about that guy. All the musical accomplishments pale in comparison to the bad things he did.

RIP Farrah Fawcett. Charlies angel!

Im sorry, but yes, im a little offended that you are calling me immature because i am not throwing myself to the ground and grieving over a goddamn CHILD MOLESTER.

Yes, i would kick his body, i would Hoist that half plastic corpse on a pike and parade him around town with a sign that says "CHILD MOLESTER" around his neck.

Hows THAT for a new low?

Or am i supposed to sit there and get all weepy cause some child molesting sack of crap died? Oh the poor music industry!.. What about the kids he scarred for life? None of them matter?

Maybe someday when you have a kid of your own you will view child molesters with a little less admiration.

If you want to mourne him, go ahead, waste your time, but dont you dare call me immature because i see him for what he is. A CHILD MOLESTER.
