Just got done with this piece..took about 3 and a half hours. The eye in the center I've had for about 2 years. Hurt like a bitch!

 

That's sick. What's the reasoning/story behind it?

 

Diggin the border of eyes. What's the symbol in the center of the main eye?

 

All of it is artwork done by Alex Grey..both pieces are from different tool albums. I got the tattoos not because I love tool (which I do) but because Alex Grey's artwork is incredible..and my tattoo artist does a pretty damn good job of translating it to skin. No story behind them..just love the artwork.
