Nah, pass on that bitch. Find a 99+, you'll be WAY happier.

But it's a 347... O.o I'd way rather have an old stroker than a newer block! I'm a grease head mmmmm

Engine size is not really a valid argument. I've even seen S197's with big blocks installed. Maybe it's just me, but I always try to buy the newest vehicle that I can afford.

yeah, i cant trust old vehicles.. like my friend wants a muscle car and he has 1500 to spend, and we found an old 84 camaro with a 355, and he wants it soo bad, but im like dude, its an 84, your gonna have to put 4000 in it to even think about driving it every day, and on top of that its gonna love gas because that time period gas was cheap.. but ya know its whatever makes you happy.. i wouldnt get caught dead in a 94-98.

Nothing is wrong with the model, its just for that price you can find yourself in a sn95 Cobra.

Doesnt say anything about cobra brakes, being a clone and all.
But even if it is 15 years old, parts arent hard to come by, and pretty cheap too.
Same chassis as a 99-04, so that kinda comes down to looks.
The only other thing is he doesn't say if he's had it tuned.

Go drive it and if its not doing anything it shouldn't be, I'd offer him like 5k and go from there.

I think it looks sick.

I personally think that the 94-98 look better then the 99-04s but that's just a personal thing and that 347 will be a bit quicker than your average edge gt

I would go look at it, drive it and offer him less Maybe you'll get an even sweeter deal! I don't think it's bad.

I like it. I love the sn95 Cobra's, and that one has a built 347...I say go out, test it and if you like it, throw an offer down on the table.

except when you decide to start modding and find out parts are double the cost of the 5.0 parts

i wish i had a 99-04 but im happy with my 95, wont make the switch until the motor blows or she gets wrecked

and to a certain person who "wouldn't be caught dead" in a '94 - '98, i am very happy with my car, sure it doesn't have those fancy anti-lock brakes, or the super fancy traction control that you can turn off....i find it more fun when you can just dump the clutch and rip away without having to push a button.

Part that makes me nervous about that is who did the work how long ago did they build it, ect. When it comes to a rebuilt motor (yes a stroker is still a rebuilt) I'd rather be the one paying the money for it..because that way I know who did the work ect.

It'd be pretty shitty to buy it, drive it for a couple thousand miles, and then have something like a bearing go..

Go test drive it. See how she rides and find out the history about the car. If the build wasn't done too long ago, and it drives fine then throw an offer out there.

UPDATE:

I'm just gonna pass. I won't get a fox because my girlfriend (hopefully fiance soon) and I both want a vert, and vert foxes look weird. My parents sat me down and told me not to grab this one up. They said they have been saving to get me a nicer car than I have for an undergrad graduation present, so if I put money down with theirs I could get a 2005-2009 GT convertible...

What makes you think you can't get one with 50k miles or less for that price? KBB on them terminators with 30-40k is about 18 or 19k. People are trying to get 22k-25k for them, but they are also still for sale months later. I have seen a bunch go lately for 18-20k. The one's that are priced that don't last long.

I think I cried a little, there. Think they'd want to trade for a yellow Mach 1? lol

I'd drive to Dallas for that.
