Default worst whippin' ever

Who handed your @$$ to you in a race? I'll start with two cars that you all hate. I had just spanked a z-28 comarro, a v-6 accord, and a turbo'd sentra in my little honda (I race from a roll; honda has no bottom end) and I was feeling cocky. I happened to see a camarro that had four exhaust tips in the center of the rear bumper, and I thought "look! He thinks he's a vette!" So I pulled up next to him and gooses the engine. We were rolling about 35-40 on a deserted stretch at night. He screamed for me to "go ahead and he'll catch up" so I dropped it down to 2nd and left. I must have been at least 7 car lenghts away (thats about 10 del sol lengths in case you are wondering) when I saw ( no ****) his headlights in my mirror point straight up. He blew by me like I was slamming on the brakes while pulling the e-brake. There must have been a foot of space between his front wheel and fender. It was nasty. My buddy said "he just handed you your *** Alex." my reply was that "no, he did not hand it to me. He threw it out his window and it splattered all over my windshield." At the next light, he pulled in and we talked for a while. He had a turbos, port pollish, bored it, chipped it, etc. He said "I think it is pretty close to 7 or 8 hundred horses." It was horrible. He did compliment me on my little Honda, but I still felt like the whipping boy. It was still fun.

Usually thats true, but with my little two seater honda I got told that a lot. I had a guy with a merc that had a 5.0 on it tell me that right before I took his badge ( I didn't race for money I raced for badges when people wanted to put money on it ). The look on the passenger's face was worth it when I dropped it to second and spun tires right next to him. I did get powned by a "5.0" mustang, but I already knew he was beasty; his car was rocking back and forth to the crank while it was idling at the light. He really had a bored out 390 (it was an eighties fast-back GT). When I goosed it at him, he said "you don't want none of this." I told him that I knew he'd beat me, I just wanted to hear him get on it . . . He was waiting at the next light before I even got across the intersection. This was a known loss though. The camarro hurt my pride a little.

Why are people still using this word. It is horribly stupid. And by the way, what's so special about your honda?

for me powned=pissed on and owned. My honda had skunk2 ecu, stage 2 cams, intake manifold, upper and lower control arms, valves, front and rear swaybars, front and rear tower bars, ferrara springs and retainers twister exhaust, solid motor/tranny mounts from redline (local shop), lsd, 5 angle valve job, injen cols air, and it was my first race car. It ran 13's in the 1/4 (13.98 but it is still a 13, even if it was only once), and I did everything myself because I had access to the local shop. It was also special because it was a vtec model, and most del sols are s or si models. Lastly, it was MINE!!

I always thought 'pwned' was stupid, too. I'm assuming it came into use because of a simple typo and some tools probably thought it was cool and funny. The guy that typed it probably was some internet/game nerd and went to **** off in the bathroom from excitement when he realized he had coined yet another stupid, over-used internet slang word.

I stole it from my son who was an interntet game playing freak, and it is still generally used around here (NC). I'll try to do better next time. My appologies.

No worries, it's just a stupid term. Try not to use pwned or epic and you should be fine. Anyways, back to the topic at hand, my worst beatings were probably from a new Mercedes S55 AMG (493hp). I took him off the line and he didn't pass me until I hit 3rd, but he blew right by. Wasn't a big race or anything. My most consistent beatings were from my friends 97 supra. I could take him off the line, but he quickly caught up. It had about 380rwhp.

those amg's are pretty nasty. Supras can be mean too. There is a guy here at the track that runs 8-9 second 1/4 miles in his. He is sponsored by a shop in Raleigh though.

I was killing him for a while until my 6er reached 115 or 116 downhill, then he passed me. He must have gotten that little **** up to like 135 or something cause he was gone. good thing i was alone, that one stayed in the vault for a while. BTW still need to get an X3 so that doesnt happen again.

When I had my mach 1 I got spanked bad by the following cars:

1. SS Camaro....I'm pretty sure he sprayed or had some serious engine work done.

2. Z06 Vette....yeah, that didn't go well. Had about a car length on him for about 5 seconds and then he passed me and moved easily into my lane. ha ha.

3. 01 supercharged Bullitt Mustang....This actually wasn't too bad of a spanking, I hung with him for a while, but he slowly pulled on me before letting off.

Some ****** in a SRT-4 neon. I know they're fast, but they're so god damned gay.... Was sitting next to him at about 45 miles per hour, (In the 08 GT) making fun of him to my girlfriend.. I shifted into second, and then he downshifted too... So, I launched on him after 3 honks, blasted by him, but after about 2 seconds, he was screaming past me. He had me by several buslengths by 80 miles an hour. I saw the kid at school the next day and asked him what he has done, turns out he's got some sort of big turbo, and spray. So, no surprise there, but still really embarassing.

Edit: Oh, the guy who drives the neon ALWAYS wears his hat backwards, and flashes the peace sign at anyone and everyone he knows. So, yea, he is the stereotype.

To say the least, I was embarassed.

The next day I was coming home from a concert with a loaded car, four people, golf clubs and a backpack and cleaning supplies in the back, and pulled up on a (problably) lightly modded one. I freaking baby launched it and ate his *** up, so that made me feel better.

There is a local guy here with a nasty 2000 vette. Back when all it had was intake, cam, full exhaust, higher stall converter, and a 200 shot I raced him for fun on the bottle.

It was a joke and a half with him on the bottle. We raced from a 40 roll and by the time I hit 80 he had around 4-6 bus lengths on me. With him off the bottle it was still a good bus length or two. Thing is even more dirt nasty now.

here is a video of how she runs now.

My 1st car I actually owned was a 68 GTO. 400 c.i. w/ mucie M-22 rockcrusher tranny. Good friend of mine and a GTO collector built the motor for me, for about 600 bucks, back in 1977. I used to whoop anything I ran, I spanked a dude who lived down the road in his 72 chevlle 454, and he couldn't believe My ole green GTO would beat his sparkling chevelle so badly.

Anyway I got my *** handed to me by a 67 Mustang with a 351 cleveland on a big roll. Dude I worked with, He blew by me at about 100 miles per hour and I was just reaching about 70 on an open strecth. I nailed it way before he was even close to me and he screamed by me. Geeez I thought my ole goat was the badest thing in town. I was humbled to the point of being grief stricken. Busted my balloon for a long time after that..

Yeah I had an episode with one of those turbo charged lil fking peons.. But I could have got him from a dead stop IMHO, but decided to wait till we were rolling about 45 miles per hour and then I nailed it in my GT, then all I heard was fcking turbo and he was pulling on me by about a fender, I hit 3rd gear and he was still pulling on me. I had to let off cause I was turning to go to work, but I seriously doubt I would have passed him. It was only a fender, not very much but still enough to see his SRT-4 stripe in front of me. But once I heard his turbo spooling up I said AHH ****. LOL. This is gonna hurt..

I just whooped up on a Milan today. haha . Kid was checking out the car when I pulled into the gas station. we both left around the same time and I was right behind him. We turned left and he kinda gunned it around the corner and squeeled the tires a bit. I laughed of course. We get to the light, I take off as normal and I hit 2nd and here him start to gun. I take off and never see him. We pull up to the next light and he gives me a nod. I think he just wanted to hear the car opened up. So the light turns green and I just take off and apparently he tried to race again.

in my Mustang GT, i have yet to race anybody (amazingly). but in my white V6 i had, i got beat by a 4 door honda. i hit my rev limiter at 110 MPH. we were going uphill. he had a tune, so he pulled away because i could go no faster. if i had my GT then, he would have aten my dust.

At the track, the worst race was when I was in the staging lanes and the guy pointed at me and the car nect to me to pull up. I looksed over and thought "ooh another s-10. Yippee." Then he fired it up (I thought it was already running) and it made my car shake and it drowned out my radio. When he pulled forward, there was like 8-10 inches of clearance between his rear tires, but it was in the middle; they barely stuck out of the fenders, a parachute, and a little wheelie bar. I think he ran like an 8 or so, and I bet he let off the gas 3/4 of the way down. It was horrible.

Yeah, I've had a few cars with muncie 4 spd trannys. The m-21 is ok I always love that rockcrusher, the gdaam gearwhine from that sucker would even drown out the motor, if you had stock exhaust like my goat. God I miss that car..
