I voted 'don't do it'. Only because it's a little flashy for my tastes and because I hate chrome. But it's your car and if you like it, go for it. Nothing like a big, shiny pumpkin to show off that ***!

Thats the thing I wish it wasn't so flashy I would much rather that it was black or something I don't really need a new one but the one I have looks like **** cause it has all sorts of surface rust on it

I just looked at Jegs.com and they only have the same damn thing that one has.

Would this one work for you? I can't tell if the sumbitch is chrome or black... I think it is chrome, though.

I too voted no because it's too flashy for my tastes. But it's your car, do whatever you want with it.

Can't you just clean yours up? Take all the rust off and polish it.

No one will ever see it unless they get under the car, or get at a wierd angle in traffic behind you.. If it looks like poop now, just sand it down and spray some flat black rust-oleum on it, done.

I can remember back in the day, it was mandatory to have a chrome housing cover. I still feel the same. Do it. It looks great..

I think it looks great. I have one of those sitting in a box w/ all the stock parts that came off my stang. I might actually put it on whenever i decide 2 get in there to change the diff oil. I say do it.

On a mustang you can not even see the rear end. So do not waste the money on it. If it was an F150 I would say go for it, but its not.

WELL ACTUALLY...a lot of car shows, the judges check underneath the car (depending on class). Some people even go as far to place mirrors around their car so the judges just need to look down. lol

I voted no. I've seen them in brushed aluminum, which looks much better than chrome IMO. And like someone said above, you can always paint your current cover (or have it powdercoated, which is what I would do.)

Go with either idea, not chrome.
