Default Tinting Lights: Like it or dislike it?

I simply don't get this recent craze with wanting to tint all the lights on peoples cars. Lets see what everyone else thinks.

i bought a spare set a few months ago and sprayed them with the smoke tint and an *** load of clear. the lights look like *** up close but from a distance they look decent.

im thinking im going to end up putting my stockers back on.

I liked it at first when not many people did it. Recently, I've started disliking it. (Hence, why I've turned the lights back to stock)

I like it if it flows with the rest of the car. Looks odd on some though.

I dig... but to each their own. I have thrown around the idea of stock lights again but IDK. I will be ordering the dark smoked lights from AM when I get a chance and take off the covers at least... but to each their own. I personally don't think it's "gay" but whatev.

Time for a new damn signature too.

my white mustang didn't have tinted tails, and it was black and white themed. Now I have a blue one, which I'm going blue and chrome themed and I have tinted tails. Go figure.

But damn, it really does look hawt with em.

In some cases it can look really good, but others are just giant fail. Really just depends on the car and the contrasting colors.

As per usual, the ricers have picked it up and made it too common, or used silly ways to accomplish the tinted look. Like the homo that used panty hose. (Don't have the link, but I think it was some POS acura.)

Wait, nvm.. Here it is. http://www.team-integra.net/forum/di...PagePosition=1

I usually like tint depending on the contrast with the car. And LMFAO at the integra owners thinking panty hose for tint is a good idea

imo it depends on the car. color, theme, and the over all look. my car is all black. murdered out. all black, black wheels, black housing headlights, tinted tails, ford badge, and side markers. i like it lol. would post pics if wanted, not a stang, but still a ford and i will be a stang owner very soon.

I really like the looks of my lights being tinted. My tinted headlights are almost non-functional at night though. When I got the GT the tailights wern't tinted and next to the v6 with tinted lights it looked bad to me, the red just stood out too much for my taste. It doesn't bother me if another Mustang's lights arn't tinted, I just think it adds a more badass or sinister look to the car, if it fits the car. I don't think a yellow car could tint just the tailights with chrome rims and pull it off at all.

I think having them a little tinted is good, but not a lot.

I never realized the difference it made until I did it. I get compliments all the time. I like them on all colors except for spikes color. Maybe thats why he doesn't like them. haha.

Damn Shexy!

Hey, I'm doing the blue and chrome thing. I have the chrome pony on the front too so it goes a little better now. I just need to update the sig.

It's probably the thing I get the most compliments on over anything with my car. I never think it's dark at all until I pull up old stock pics of my car and the red stands out like crazy. I think some cars could do without it, but when everything on my car is black or chrome colored, I don't really want the red.

I like the tinted taillights, but dam you can't see the brakes as easy on a sunny day in heavy traffic. As for tinted headlights, Mine are mildly tinted and I got some of those headlihgt covers, Geez you have to take them off at night or you can't see ****.. I'd rather have my lights on both ends doing what they're supposed to do. I don't want to get rear ended by someone because of tinted taillights. But on most mustangs they do have that badass look..

I agree.

I only have my sidemarker and turn signals tinted and it's going to stay that way.
