Angry Frustrating...

i am doing a brake change in front of my house...i ran into some problems that i thought i could work around but ended up not working out in my favor.

First, front brakes very simple to change pads because i have cobra calipers. the problem i had was that the stupid rotors are frozen on the spindle and i dont have a huge hammer to break them loose. so that job is fucked till i can get the proper tool

Second, rear brakes. i thought and figured the caliper would give me issues because i dont have the tool to screw it in. i thought i could use channel locks or needle nose pliers and both options i choose didnt work out for me! i was able pull the old rotors off slap on the new ones.

the last job i planned for the day was fixing my x-pipe. i installed this thing last year and it took me and a friend about 40 minutes to pull the car onto the lift and drive out of the shop. with that said we did a fast shitty job...i bought a new gasket loosened all of the clamps on the O/R bassani x-pipe dropped it just enough to throw the gasket on. i lack the proper socket, 1/2" drive 15mm socket to be exact, to get that one stupid bolt "man" tight. so i had to do my best with the shallow socket on a 3/8" ratchet...its going to leak after a few hundred miles. i put a floor jack under the x-pipe and tucked it under the car as best i could...now my right exhaust tip is all jacked up and i cant adjust it because some *** clown tack welded it onto the exhaust, FML.

so all in all i got nothing accomplished and created more work for myself...Oh i bought black center caps from AM and the ******* things dont fit flush in the rim! WTF is up with that!? the black acorn lugs look good though

You ever heard of Murphy's Law? These incidents are a very good example of it, haha. It happens to me all the time, so you are not alone.

Don't give in. You can totally use needle nose pliers for the rear calipers. Its all I ever use when I do them.
