Don't you hate when someone calls you and you go "Hey". They go "hey", you go ..whats up?. They respond with "not much, whats up with you?". What the hell just get to the point you called me otherwise send me a text message haha.

My friends and I have an understanding, we even had a talk about it. We don't *** around sending each other petty *** text messages. We don't send things like "OK" or "Hey" or just one word stuff, or things to signal the end of the conversation. Just like a little while ago, friend asked "What are you doing, in town?" I reply "Just got out of a movie in Little Rock." Tells what I'm doing and where I am. He doesn't send anything back, that's a man conversation.

I'm guilty of the "k" response. That just means "k, I'm over it. Go away now"

I usually do the "k" thing too. It's just like saying "over" when using a radio. Lets the person know that you received the message, which is important if they have a service that loses half of their calls/texts

That's why I do it. Unlimited texting FTW.

me too but sometimes it gets ridiculous when you have texting convos, then its time for a call otherwise my fingers die haha. touch screen sometimes gets annoying when you try to type paragraphs

My best friend does that to me all the time. She'll call me and be like 'what are you doing' and I'll tell her and then she'll go 'oh... (insert long pause here)'. Then she'll proceed to tell me whatever she needed to tell me, but she'll tell me over and over and over and over and over again. It irritates the **** out of me.
She also calls me at the worst times, like when I'm watching a cool-*** show or movie on TV. Like I was watching that movie 'This is England' and she called me and wouldn't shut the hell up. I told her I was watching a movie, I didn't want to talk and I would call her back when it was over.
