I need some ideas...
So this saturday will be a year that I've been with my girlfriend. I want to do something with her, but I have no ideas what. I know that I'm going to take her out to dinner at a vegetarian restaurant in downtown orlando since she doesn't eat meat. I can't come up with any other ideas, though. I don't want to do gifts, so I'd rather just take her out somewhere to do something. I figure since a lot of you are in the orlando area you could throw out some ideas.

Go somewhere and get a nice hotel for the night. My wifes and my 1 year wedding anniversary is coming up this weekend and we are taking a trip down to Carmel for a night. Damn hotel is costing me like $450 for the night. It's pretty kick *** though.

Congratulations, Ryan!
What kinds of things does she like to do? If you have the money, you could take her to someplace that she likes either before or after dinner, depending on what time you eat. Try to take her somewhere she'd like to go that you normally wouldn't bother with, just to surprise her.
I think you should get her a little something, maybe a little teddy bear or something like that. Us girls are sentimental and we like keepsakes. She'll keep that and think 'awww, Ryan got me this on our first anniversary'.

Dude. Take her out for sushi, force her to eat it, and then she'll realize the being a vegetarian is ridiculous and a pain in the *** for other people that are not, like a family for example....mommys gotta cook two dinners for thanksgiving? bah!
But hey, thats just me ranting from experience. Dont mind me. Take her to the olive garden. Endless breadsticks......ahh.

I'm not married yet, but my 6 year anniversary is May 18th.
I couldn't agree more. But to each their own.
Edit:
You really shouldn't encourage baby eating on a public forum.

Me and My girl's 7 year anniversary is tomorrow. I got her a few gifts, card, were going to go to a movie and eat someplace, same as always. The coilovers that she got me just arrived about 30 minutes ago.
I was racing on her 21st birthday back in November. Your first event isn't till mid may, damn, we've already had three events.

why a vegitarian resturant? plenty of italin places serve plates without meat. also, you can get her a gift certificate to the place she gets her nails done. i get that for my girl on our anniversry. i actually give it to her a few days before, because i know she likes to get dolled up when we go out.
