Default Saturday was a good car day

So me and the lady went downtown to get some lunch on Saturday. Day was nice and sunny, didn't take out the stang for some reason, but oh well. Anyways, as we are driving through downtown there is a 03/04 cobra parked, few spots down from that there is a white GTR (saw the same one the other day I believe), and then a few spots down from that was a sweet black Ford GT. So the day started off good and then had a nice tri tip sandwich for lunch. Started heading back home and what do I see..... Out of all the high priced, supercars I've seen, this is the one I have yet to see actually driving around and not at a dealership or on the internet. That car would have to be a Ferrari Enzo. It was damn sexy. I tried turning around to get pics, but I lost him. Anyways, that was my Saturday afternoon.

Cali does have some sick cars, and LOTS of bad azz mustangs. Not sure that's the best part though. I know you hate cali and I'm with you on the politics and most laws of this state, but there is nowhere in this world like it when it comes to the variety of climates and things to do.

For instance, I got in my car and drove 3 hours east to Lake Tahoe this weekend. I could have driving an hour to the Pacific Ocean to surf if I wanted. Or I could have driving 20 minutes to ride my dirt bike (yes, we have hills and mountain in Cali). ha ha

Here is a picture from the yard of the house we stayed at in Tahoe. Bash Cali all you want, but I challenge anyone on this site to find a more beautiful place in this country.

yeah i miss the bay but im glad i didnt get stationed out there in yuba city/nevada city! that would of sucked big time. I'm starting to like the fact that im moving to phoenix because i can get a 2,000+ sq.ft home for around 150k! i can totally afford a 30 year loan with the air force paying me 900 a month for RENT! i wont have to go out of pocket! yes, i will most likely root myself there in the desert.

anyway saturday here in germany sucked a lil bit because i had to work for 12 hours that day but i made up for it that night

That would be correct. The Ford GT and GTR were cool to see, but I've seen them before, but the Enzo was the ultimate. I've seen SLR McLarens, Lambos, Carrera GTs, other Ferarris, DB9s, but never an Enzo until this past Saturday. I really need to start carrying my camera around wherever I go.

Cali FTW. North Dallas is like that too. I just spent a week there and got my fill of maseratis, gt's, etc. Of course, Dallas doesn't have the kind of scenery that Cali does....

I've sat in an enzo. It feels like a fuggin fighter plane.

And, the woodlands texas is freaking ridiculous. We live in one of the "lower-class" 400k/house neighboorhoods. My neighbor has a 65 cobra, my dad has a 68 camaro RS/SS, and the guy down the street drives a fuggin ferrari f360. Bentleys are so common they don't strike me anymore. I know a KID with a 2010 camaro SS, I know another with an ISF, and this one pretty good lookin chick drives a fuggin srt-8 charger on 22's.

She was wearing $500 boots the other day. Supposedly she has a credit card to her parents accounts for pretty much anything she needs.

My dad let me drive the SS on saturday.... That was fun.

Passed a yellow Lambo Diablo today...I don't know about you guys but I felt kind of stupid passing him...he was barely going the speed limit so it wasn't hard but I guess just knowing he could blow by in a second made it weird.

It was a newer model...but it's not like I was driving a z06 or a termy...so I dont' think I had him overrated.

The Diablo's were once the fastest production car. I'm pretty sure it would kick the crap out of a Mustang GT. I'm excited for summer coming up cause I know everyone will have their nice cars out.
