My grandpa...

He was an amazing person who unfortunately has been dealing with parkinsons for nearly 20 years and on top of that, Alzheimers disease in which he's suffered for nearly ten years. He is a former Wyoming Senator, Pearl Harbor Vet, fmr. Dean of Sheridan College (even has a dorm and library dedicated to him there), Dick Cheney's fmr. high school history teacher (he didn't like him either), and overall brilliant/intelligent and kind person.

He's been suffering for a long time, and I'm happy it's over. He's in a MUCH better place and I'm glad that his days of pain and misery are done.

I love you Grandpa!


(Spare me the sympathy and pity, please. I'm not looking for that, I just wanted people to know)

 

I know you wanted the sympathy spared, but I'm sorry man.. I know it's a tough time, I lost my Grandpa about a year ago, so I understand.

Sounds like a truly respected man. Sorry for your loss man, but at least the suffering is finally over.
