Default Went down on the motorcycle today..

ugh...finally getting to sit down and relax.

Was crusin (luckily around 30 mph) and some ******* ******* turned right in front of me. swerved to miss him, hit some gravel..

the bike ended up fliping end over end..over end..over end.

it's trashed. a lot is broken on it, including the front fork.

as for me, some painful road rash on my *** and on my leg and I think my toe is broken.

but I'm glad to be alive. I'm devastated about my bike. I only have liability as well...

I'll post pics tomorrow.

I'm sorry to hear that john, good thing you're alright. Sucks about the bike but that can be replaced.

My friend (girl) just got a bike so reading that really makes me worry about her, this stuff can happen to anyone and you never see it coming.

After working in trauma, I can tell you first hand how f***ing lucky you are!!! Sorry about the bike but that can be replaced, eventually if not immediately. Glad you're ok. Take care of the road rash and the toe.

Is the jack-off going to do anything??? I'd take him to court over that ****. He needs his f***ing license taken away. Some people should never get past a driver's permit...

If you can walk/limp/crawl away from a bike accident you win. Sorry about the bike

A lot of people do not pay attention to people on bikes, and it pisses me off. Then again, a lot of people don't pay attention when they drive, period. I had a friend last year who got hit while on his bike, and he only had it for two weeks. Some lady made an illegal left turn as he had a left arrow, hit him, and he died immediately. My dad also got into a pretty bad motorcycle accident when he was younger, and I have a friend who was miraculously unharmed from a severe bike accident where the whole right side of his bike was torn off. I know more people who have gotten into accidents on bikes than I do people who have been in accidents in cars or trucks.

I'm glad you're okay, man. You got very, very lucky.

I know way more people who have been in vehicle accidents, but on a bike **** happens some times. You can ask Stephen when he comes back online. I had a lady a few weeks ago not yeild on an on ramp for the highway and just started to turn right into me. She was less than a foot away and I saw it and just kicked the bike down two gears and went WOT. She almost took out the back of my bike and laid me down.

I slowed down next to her and let her know what was up, aka I told her I was going to kill her if she stopped her car.

I am super cautious around bikes since my Dad rides and I have been on a bike a few times I realize how vulnerable you are. It makes me so mad that so many people wreck there bike and get hurt, killed, because of other drivers who don't pay attention and give bikes the space they need.
