Default Everyday Music...

I've had this idea for a while. I thought it would be cool if we had a thread with music and bands that we like, that way we could find out more about each other in regards to musical tastes and maybe even find some new bands in the process.

Feel free to comment on another person's videos, but I'd like to keep the smashing out of this. Please remember that not everyone likes the same music that you do. We all have different tastes, different ears, and we all have the right to listen to what we please. Some of you know how strongly I feel about this (mainly Evan and King), so try not to poop in the thread. It is fine if you disagree with another person's tastes, but try to go about it in a civil and open-minded matter.

The idea is to post up a link to youtube videos or something so people can hear the song. If you think there's subject matter involved in the video that others may find questionable, please use your best discretion and post the link with some warnings before someone clicks the link and sees something they don't want to see.

(I didn't put this in 'show, shine' and tunes' because it technically is a 'lounge' thing. Not necessarily in regards to cars, just every day music we enjoy listening to. But Dustin or Chris, if you feel this still should be in another section, I'll take your word for it.)

I'll start by posting a video from one of my favorite songs by my favorite band, Alice in Chains.

Alice in Chains - What the Hell Have I?

All That Remains - Air That I Breathe
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GG9qlKEyV4E

I've seen this band three times over the past two years. Their new cd isn't my favorite, cause they got a lot softer, but the cd this album is off 'The Fall of Ideals' is probably one of my favorite metal cds.

I really love Scott's voice. It's right underneath Layne's.

Acid Bath - Venus Blue (this isn't the video, it is just a clip with the song)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZFFv...eature=related

Acid Bath was a psychedelic metal band from Louisiana. They have some really heavy **** and were just an all around amazing band. Definitely one of my favorite bands and I encourage everyone who loves metal to check them out.

Haha... Yeah. I love rise against. I forgot that I saw them at warped tour a few years back. I have seen shinedown when they played in hometown Jacksonville and I am upset to say I missed disturbed this past weekend! =[

I like saving abel too... I think they were opening act for disturbed this past weekend...

actually the real number is 24,047.. and yes that is WAY too much music, but it hits almost every type of music out there so i can choose from day to day on what i feel like listening while on the computer.. and it is only 1447 hours 2 min. and 14 seconds (i belive thats what winamp told me) so it will take me 24 and a half days of listening to every song all the way thru before i will here a re-peat...
