About to go insane..
I swear, there are a TON of clean GT's in my area, or within 100 miles.. I can not find ONE Manual Vista blue, anywhere! Have they all dissapeared? Where are they? lol
I really don't want to compromise, but there are 05-06 GT's with less than 50k going for $14-16k all over the place. What should I do? Wait and keep saving money?

Yeah, that's pretty much where I'm at. I guess I'll just keep my car on the market and try to sell it outright, but I haven't had any bites on it and the trade-in value isn't getting any better.. lol

Yeah, I honestly thought that this car wouldn't stay on the market too long.. 6 cylendar, 23mpg, and loaded.. But I'm still asking the higher end of the NADA price so we'll see how it goes I guess.

I really don't want to wait until Spring though.. They'll start asking more for them just because the weather is nice. I guess maybe if the economy continues the way it is that may not happen this year.

*locks his doors*
But mine's a funless-auto that I got cause I live in a city that's really annoying to drive a manual around all the time in, and you know what... I don't really mind it...
I sure as **** miss revving to 6000 and dropping the clutch though.... that was a rip
Oh yea, and vista blue is sex...

Oh, and BTW: It's down to Vista Blue, Red Fire or Silver if that's my only option.

Hey, have you posted your car on Auto Trader? I'm thinking about doing it with mine, I just listed it at carsforsale.com..

I actually really like my Stratus, but it's just not what I want and truthfully I won't be sacrificing much fuel mileage to switch to a V8. I only get about 22-23MPG in the Stratus even taking it easy. The newer Mustang should be able to match that in 5th gear cruising and a majority of my driving is on the interstate.

Have you ever been in an s197? It's millions of miles apart from the sn95... Only real downside is it feels more powerful, but it feels as if it's pulling another 400 pounds. You can definitely tell it has more horsepower than the 99-04 GT's. It's handling more than makes up for it though. It handles SO well, i swear it handles just as good as my friend's 350z (stock for stock).
And about silver. It's alright, just not my cup of tea. I looked at a loaded 06 GT mustang that was gray, and I thought it was the grossest mustang I've ever seen.
Get a vista or sonic blue mustang. If you do so happen to get red, make sure you put some white/black accents on it to break it up.... But the manual is a must. I miss the **** out of it.
I say you can't really go wrong with ANY color s197 except the baby blue.
You're gonna love the new car, and you're gonna have a smile every time you press the gas.

Evan, I say save up and wait. If you get just any GT now and it isn't really the one you want, you won't be completely satisfied with it.

My Fiance' has an '05 Sixxer, I know from driving my old Sixxer that the improvement in that platform is unbelievable. One of my old friends had a '96/97 T-Bird with the 4.6 and her little 4.0L walked it with no problem. lol
The ONLY think I don't love about the 197's is how big they are, but I need the room. I'm about 6'4" and really need the extra leg room.

The thing about the S197, as soon as you get it you'll see the 010s+ appearing and you're going to be hit with that 1-upped sense because of how much of an improvement those cars are over the 05-09 models (jk guys :P). You wouldn't have that sense in an SN95 because they're so old and different no on even cares. lol

#25
I thought they upgraded the suspension on all the models the GT got the bullitt suspension (and engine) and the v6 got the gt suspension

CAI + Tune = same HP.

Totally agree. Why not get an 03/04 mach or Cobra. I bet you get a decent deal on a mach....... Much faster than an 99-04 GT and a little faster than an 05+ GT. Plus it will seperate you from every other mustang around.
