okay, so i think that i have a job, but i wanted to ask yall first...

the reason i think i have it is because the manager called today and we talked a bit, then he said he was going to call resources and start a background check, and driving record on me.
i was thinking thats a good thing.. he said it will take a couple days for it to finish..
also asked if i would take a drug test..

does this mean if everything is good (like it should be) that i got the job??


oh what it is,
I will work at L2 auto, being the only lube person,
changing oil mainly..
(they started a new promotion, its like an extra $800 when you buy the car for free oil changes for life while you have the car, is why the need an oil changer)
it pays $10 an hour, around 40 hour weeks

i really hope i can get it...

 

Well, whenever you apply anywhere they ask if you're willing to take a test for drug screening. If you say no, they probably won't hire you at all. It's a requirement, usually.

 

yeah, i have no problem taking a drug screen i hope, i am tempted to buy one of the at home testers, i have not smoked anything, but have been in a car with people that did (last weekend) stupid mistake...

 

as long as they were not smoking when you were in the car you should be fine.

 

i was in the car for a bit, but they tried to blow it out the window, but some was still in the car..

oh and i am going to start on the nothing but water to **** like a pregnant women, to try and clean my system out thing.. or are there better ways??

I've heard milk is good, but for one I've never needed to try it, and two I'm not sure if it actually is or not.

 

Water works...if you didnt actually smoke...a week is enough time without doing anything special... dont drink tons of water the day of or your urine's urea count will be low and they will know you were trying to hide something...but then again it depends on the place you go to get tested and how much the employer is spending on the test.

I could have used frekin lemonade at the place my current employer sent me... cheap bastards...lol.

but you'll be fine. whats your body fat percentage? THC, the active psychoactive substance in marijuana and what they test for, is store in your fat cells. higher the metabolism, faster it gets out. if your avg weight/height you'll be good in like 4-5 days, IF that.

 

You know, I've heard it was law for them to watch you but for ever **** test I take I get sent into a bathroom. I'm just told not to flush..

 

well i am like 5'8 or 5'9 and weigh 145, and i am very lanky... but i do have a pretty fast metabolism, and i am pretty active (if that helps), so i think i should be okay,
