Default is this a decent deal??

Okay,
i am about to get a new job, next week (hopefully)
its going to pay $10 and hour and 40+ hour weeks
(i put that up there to say what i will be making enough or yall think i will to buy the car)

anyways,

i was driving around today and saw a very pretty car that i am interested in,
its an 03 mach 1 with 43,000 miles
long tube headers
shorty (i think x couldn't see it too well)
borla cat back
JTL intake,
DD billet rims
275 kuhmo front 315 nitto rear
5 speed manual,
i am guessing probably gears. (it makes sense they will be on there with the mods you can see)
the dealership is asking 15K for it,
i want to start building credit, so in a couple weeks (if its still there) i was going to ask my dad if he would co-sign with me, try to get the car around 10-11K after the trade-in of my current mustang,

do yall think that would be a good deal??

and wow this car sounds mean...

Good deal is based on what Machs go for in your area. I would take it personally becaue I spent $21k after tag and tax on mine and I got it with 35,000mi. And it's nice on your credit so long as your not late on your payments should you finance. You definitely wouldn't regret a Mach though (you might for a couple weeks should you experience a similar IAC problem, but that's rare so don't worry about it). I say go for it, especially with that new job.

i talked to the guy, and he "said" that he will try to hold it for me for about two weeks so i can be at my job and get some money from it, i think the hard part would be getting my dad to do it, because mom just bought new fusion, but i don't know until i ask...

all i would want to do is move my sub over and tint the windows

Well if you got it out the door for around 13K then your payments would be right around $250 a month or so. If you can afford that then I'd say go for it, but if not, then I'd save up and wait.

+1,000,000 to PCola.

And SxyXc, standing out is what it's all about. How many yellow cars do you think there are in all of Colorado? Not a lot. And there are three yellow cars in my entire town...my family owns two of them.

well i am happy,
today i got a call that said i will take a drug test tomorrow, and then get a job (when i pass)

so the mach is becoming more and more of a posibility, my father said when i get a job, we will talk about it.. i can not wait if i get the car..
mods i will do...
1) get it tinted 15% and 5% like within the first week.... (have a good friend that owns a tint shop, and we will switch cars for a day and he will get it tinted)
2) put my sub in current box, then build a fiberglass box for it.
3) get smoked headlights (when i get the money)
4) tint the tail lights

i don't think thats a bad list for the car, it should not be too expensive either.. just a new amp kit, headlights, the tail light tint, and then the fiberglass stuff.

bot very good but it does show the BADASSNESS of the car..

but the car is looking more and more like it will be in my garage,
only got to hope it does not sell in the next i guess week and a half to two weeks...

Looks good, but the first thing I would do is get a mach 1 decal back on that hood. Looks naked without it.

Very Nice. You can get the stripe for it and do it yourself. I love those DD black bulllits, they look great on the red paint. overall it looks very nice..

Just remember, Can you afford the insurance.. It might be more than you expect, young man.
