Car broken into
Well this morning I'm laying in bed and get a phone call at 7:30am. Look at the phone and it says unavailable so I let it ring. Then I get a voicemail so I listen to it and it said: this is the campus police there seems to be an incident involving your vehicle in the apartment parking lots. An officer is on scene and it appears your car was broken into and a window broken. I don't think I ever got out of bed so fast in my life. Long story short I go out there the cops there and my car is completely tossed inside out from the inside. Glass all over the interior big paint chip on the passenger side door from a bat or whatever the low life used. Radio yanked out, air vents demolished, real expensive radar detector that was hidden gone... etc. Electronics alone $1000 missing. 2009 has been a great year for me!

My buddys car got broken into last week when we were at a bar I got lucky cause my car was parked right next to his. I still don't know what they wanted with a 1996 acura TL they didn't take anything but his change cause he had nothing in the car. I told him from now on he should just leave his dorr unlocked so they leave the window alone

Just got back from the claims estimate and the window/window tint/AC vents and repainting the passenger side door is all covered. The radio I'm out of luck because it was an aftermarket XM radio that was mounted on the AC vent so since its not in the factory manufactured location its considered a loss. As well as the radar detector that they found under the seat is just considered a loss. So I'm out a radio all the wiring got cut, the escort radar detector (i'm watching for it on ebay) and THANKFULLY my SCT tuner was still in the spot that I hide that. So I'm out about $1000 worth of electronics and wires that weren't covered and the paint/interior parts totaled $400 in damages and then the window guy is giving me a quote on the window and replacing it which will be charged to the insurance company as well as how much the tint costs. So all in all the stang definitely took a hit

This picture makes the car look brand new compared to how it was when I first walked outside. Before this there were receipts and papers all over and the center console was all hanging apart with a bunch of wires hanging out of the center console.. (got all those out this after noon so this is what it looks like now minus the glass just got all of that cleaned up finally. I now get 2 radio stations since craps all screwed up. You name a spot in the car other than the trunk and there was glass haha... took forever

Well got the car back and it looks like pure sex! Haha. Very happy with the work that was done. The rail that guides the window was replaced so that works as it's suppose to again. Passenger side paint looks amazing they even filled in a couple door dings on the drivers side and fixed the passenger side tail pipe (it was lose but I never even mentioned that). Stang got a full detail and looks amazing (basically brand new looking)
Forgot to mention they even retinted the window
