Here is my situation...

It all depends on the location and when you bought the car dumbass. I bought my car for 13K, but that was 4 years ago.

one thing stephen, you round 7400 down to 7000, not round up to 8000. dunno where you got your math classes at, but rounding up is 7500 and up, not 7400.
(that, and i still owed about 2 grand on my V6, so that is why it is 7400.)

+1 never understood why people even talk about prices. The price depends on where you live. Just like how the standard/cost of living in parts of california, new york city, chicago are much higher than the standard/cost of living in Orlando, indy, kentucky, etc which is why cars and other things cost more in other places.

I got my last stang in October 2004 for 28k with 3 miles on it. It was fully loaded, all options, and i got a big discount but still carried about 5 grand overhead from my trade in.
loudy decision, but one i never regretted, i had a lot of fun in that car.

And prices haven't varied too much from 02 until now. I looked at a Mach1 in 2002 while shopping for my wifes car, and it was 32 grand sticker price. Competition orange w/ black stripes. absolutley beautiful I thought. But 32,000 was a bit much in 02. It's actually the reason I even bought a GT in 04 cause I loved that Mach so much..
Keep your Mach 1 bro. just try to refinance it maybe or hit the lottery...

there are things called options. ya know, things that are upgraded from the standard equipment. so he special ordered his car with certian options that couldnt be found on the lots

They are saying that his car "looks" <-- (they call that a key word) better and faster than your car does, because well. It does. lol
Stephen, are you this dense in real life? Seriously. Dustin, anyone care to chime in on this?

I think all of this arguing over whose car looks better or whose car looks faster is stupid. If Stephen's Mustang was owned by anyone but Stephen, people would be like 'it looks great' and would be all over it like stink on ****.
Both of their cars look great. I've seen them in person, so I know. I personally don't think either one of them look faster than the other. Looks don't matter, it's what's under the hood that counts.

I would either keep the mach1 and just keep paying it off. Or sell it and get a cheap fox body which can be had for as low as $3,000 for a nice one down here.
Older Mustangs in Florida are always cheaper because we have such nice weather and thus they sell a lot of them down here.

No, he's not dense like this in real life. I think that is just his way of arguing. He is basically saying 'how can John's (mustangV6_04) car look more muscular than mine since it is stock, except for the wheels?' And the reason why he said that ordering options for a V6 made him giggle, is because his lines of thinking are 'why order all those options for a V6 when you could just save all that crap and get a V8'? If that's not his exact thoughts put into more literal terms, then I'd say they're pretty close.

John's car looks more agressive because of the DD rears, Hood scoop and chin spoiler, yeah it's all asthetics and yes Stephens car may be faster, but we were talking about looks here.
Anyway, back on topic..

Well to stephen's defense, the only reason the cobra front doesn't look great is because he doesn't have a damn chin, and he has shitty stock wheels. It'll look much better after he does those...the chrome headlights don't help either
