Im going for my first tattoo tomorrow. Any of you guys have advice like how to get through it, how to take care of it etc...

Im getting this on my back with the line going up my neck

ahhhh the hitman symbol huh? nice idea. I am getting my first one after i graduate college. this semester!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My friend has like 5 of them i will ask him to see what he says.

 

A good tattoo shop should explain how to take care of it but the most important thing to remember is when it scabs over do not pick at it!

 

you rub a&d ointment for like, 3 days. wash it like you would normal skin but not with a washcloth or anything abrasive. wen it starts to peel, don't pick at it or anything like that, because you might damage the pattern. don't go tan, or submerse it in water (ie, swimming pool).

i'm not crazy about the symbol (hey, its your body, do whatever you want), however, for your first tattoo you generally want to put it somewhere thats easily hidden. the back of you neck will pretty much always be exposed and will peer out over a collared shirt. i've got plenty of tattoos, but non can be seen in a dress shirt. i'd re-think the placement of the ink. you don't want to be judged on an interview or date or anything because of some body work.

 

I actually like the symbol. And I also agree with engineman. You might want to lower it onto your back at least. That way it doesn't show above a collar.

 

Not a fan of that sign, but if you like it screw everyone else.

you should get a big ***** point down your lower back.. i mean it couldnt be much worse than the hitman symbol

just get a show that can shade the edges really well.

 

Looks like a tribal tat if you don't know Hitman, and I can't ******* stand tribal tattoos. But if you like it thats all that matters.

At least it is dark and simple, easy to incorporate into something else later.

 

They did a good job on the shading. Not bad.

Yeah lol, I remember your getting a **** ton of tribal on your chest/shoulder/arm. If it's what you like thats cool. I'd personally rather have some badass artwork.

 

lol speaking of artwork i have a buddy whos got full sleaves and half his back and hitler on his inner thigh with his arm going up his dick so it would look like he is doing the salute when he gets a boner. He also got a chicken hanging from a noose on his calve so he would have a **** that hangs below his knees.

 

Looks good, I've got a cross with tribal going shoulder to shoulder. I like the symbol. The shading looks good as well. Hope ya like it!

among others, I have a panda. with guns.

although the design is questionable, the tattoo is quality. the artist did great work yellow02.
