Default I saw the craziest thing today

While heading out to get lunch today i saw the most beautiful Comp orange Mach 1. It Had hood pins and sounded pretty healthy and it looked like it just got washed. I felt like crap driving past it in my filthy little v6 mustang until i got a look of it in my rear view mirror and realized it had a tow hitch... Who in the hell puts a tow hitch on a mustang, a mach 1 at that. It almost made me double take. It looked ridiculous. I saw it again on my home from school i hope i see it again and can take a picture of it.

Tow hitch on a Mustang could mean that he has a a trailer that he uses to haul race tires to track events. And I'm talking about the small square that you attach stuff too, not an actually ball to hitch up to. I have considered putting one on my car for when I get race tires. Alot of guys that I race with have tow hitches for thier trailers for tools and tires. On Mini Coopers that act like a rear swaybar/brace by tightening up the rear end. Not for a show car but a hitch has it's purposes.

^ Or it could be a college student haha. I see tons of people with them on Ponies here at school. The funniest thing I've seen are people with kayak or bike racks on the roofs of ponies haha.

you should always have an extra car or truck to take ur extra set of tires, i dont think cars should have tow hitches

That would be the best thing to do, have a tow vehicle, a trailer, straps. But not always possible. Wouldn't be possible for me right now. I think the tow hitches are ugly, but sometimes needed.

i got new tires a few months back and had to take em from my house to school this way so i could use the tire machine, but 1 of the big lugs i go to class with managed to wedge 2 of my old tires in my trunk to take em home. needless to say it took me like 15 mins to squeeze 1 of those suckers out when i got home

Found it again, its not a mach obviously, i only saw it for a second the first time and saw the hood stripe and went "hey a mach1" but it doesnt have the grill or chin spoiler, just a 2 valver.

kinda dont know whats goin on with the tow hitch/antenna thing maybe someone could enlighten me.

EDIT: camera phone pics btw and the last 1 i was driving past it taking a pic with 1 hand so kinda goofy

what is that next to the hitch-a cb antenna? breaker breaker, those things are kinda fun though. ive thought about putting one under my deck but it would have to tie in to my radio antenna somehow. i would never put a big *** cb antenna on it.
