School sucks...
I know a few people have been curious about where I've been, and to answer that for everyone I've been in Laramie, WY. I moved Sunday/Monday into my new dorms, and classes started yesterday, they're sunrise to sunset classes with loads of homework so I can't be on here much anymore...until the weekends anyway.
Just thought I'd let you guys/gals know...

what school you going to? I have a friend going out there at wyotech, finishing up his last 3months of school. He attends all day, monday-saturday. I heard its a pretty tough program to stick with.

Yeah I do that like every day for work, 4 - 6 hours of sleep and I'm good to go. I find sleeping really boring and a waste of time.

you know you picked the right school when everyone including your friends are bitching about how break is almost over and you cannot wait to get back to school.

Yeah that's where I'm at. Wyoming Technical Institute (Wyotech). Currently I'm in ASM (Applied Service Management) in which I'll get my shop mangement associates degree by March. Then I'll be done with college on September 19th of this year unless I sign up with a chassis fab or powertrain class...

So, Why does this thread start with " school sucks"? It sounds to me like your on your way to a good career. You are on the right road to doing something with the rest of your life. You could have chosen the wrong road and suffer later on in your life. School doesn't suck. School will teach you the skills you will need make it in todays economy. I try and try to tell my young 16 yr old son this. he's reply is "school sucks". DAAMMIT. I tell him there aren't many good paying jobs out there and even less for you if you don't have a skill or good education. There's always sanitation work I guess.. Or food services.. Sorry to rant on you Bro, but I would love to be your age and in a good tech school.. You'll reap the rewards later in life when you really need them..

I'm all for violence and everything, but let's get real here. You can't stab each other in the eyes with burning forks over the internet.
King, good luck with school. Try not to be too much of a stranger.

Aww, are you being sour because you're not getting any from your boyfriend? There are some pretty nice looking ladies up here, actually. I was surprised.

damn man. I'm glad you found something that works. personally, I couldn't imagine leaving Colorado for anything less than Hawaii. I've become attatched. Going to CU Boulder next year.
who wouldn't want to school here?

CU was too close to home, and it doesn't have the automotive programs. Plus here at Wyotech I'll have my business management associates degree by March, and I'll be completely done on September 19th. Unless they add the high performance powertrain class that I want, but even then I'd be done before Christmas of this year.

Well, if he's like me, he won't necessarily care about the 'experience'. Like when I was in high school. I didn't give two ***** about the 'high school experience'. All I wanted to do was get good grades and get the hell out of there. If I wouldn't have screwed off so much my junior year taking classes I didn't need, I would have been able to graduate early.
