The gaming geeks all like the PS3 better, but the Wii is outselling the Play Station by 3:1. Turns out that there are a lot more families out there who enjoy the Wii then the gaming geeks.
The PS3 technically is a better game system and you also get a Blue Ray player to boot. But the Wii is a lot more inter-active and way more fun in groups.

Wii rocks. The control interface is awesome for so many games. Games that come out for Wii, many of them, cant even be had on any other console. I have a ps2 and xbox...I dont ever use them since I got the Wii. retro games FTMFW!!!!!

Wii is fun, my girlfriend and I have one and we enjoy it. She is getting me NFS Undercover when there is one in town, they are sold out currently. I don't play many video games but I like being able to jump around and all the physical stuff that the Wii requires.

I'm going to have to try it though. I bought Pro Street for PC and I didn't play it for more than an hour or two. I should look into it more before she does buy it.

We have a Wii. The first time I played boxing, I was sore for three days. LOL We have the Wii Fit too, but I dont use it really. Speaking of Rock Band, I got it for my kids this Christmas, and it's a total blast. Alot of fun. I gotta take a break now and then, just to have a smoke and grab a beer...just like really playing in a band.

Rock Band or Guitar Hero World Tour is a must.
for family fun get,
Super Smash Bros.
Mario Kart
and Mario Party (if there is even out for the Wii, I dont really know)
Alot of people I know use the old GameCube controllers for these games though instead of the ones that come with the Wii.

I have both Wii and Xbox 360. Xbox is a much better system, but the Wii is fun for parties and such. The wife likes playing the Wii so we bowl and play Mario Kart. Of course the wife and some of our friends like playing Guitar Hero World Tour and Rockband 2, on the 360 though. Sure the 360 has had it's probems, but it's still a great system. Better than PS3 for sure.

Between my fiance and I, we own 7 different gaming platforms. Out of all of them, my Wii is my favorite. I like it because it is just so damn fun to play. I saw a few games at Wal-Mart that I might buy this weekend.

Yeah, I'll probably get one this year, maybe for my B-day. When I first saw ads for the wii, I couldn't help to think about the old NES, and the patented "Glove". LOL What a POS that was. That thing wasn't even good for punchout, which you would think would be perfect game for it. But I just like the idea of bowling, and tennis from you living room. And it is actually hard to get a good score, so that adds realism and don't expect to bowl a 300 game any time soon..

I have Zelda and it's pretty fun. Wouldn't say it's the best, but very good. The best Zelda ever was Ocarina of Time on N64. I do like the fact though that my wife plays the Wii too. Mario Kart is definitely fun.
