Default What car?

what car would you choose to replace the mustang? now, you cant choose another mustang, it has to be a different car all togehter.

Also, you need to stay reasonable with your choices, not everyone can afford an Enzo, or a Garalldo, etc.

I will start.

My choice would probably be a c5 Z06. something like an 02 or so.

Thats a great choice. I've seen regular c5's with under 50k miles for $15. If I the money I'd get one.

If I were to replace my car it'd probably be replaced with GTO, G8, or a Challenger.

no, i said a car that is in reason, and c5 vettes are cheap ever since the c6's came out, that and the economy sucks.

then the trans am would be the new camaro for the most part...

Audi S4
Driving my little 1.8t quattro a4 has given me a taste for the german autos.
That, and you can drive it in the damn snow, and since I <3 the northeast with mouth, I don't plan on moving to where I can drive a mustang year round.

I second that. I drove an STi yesterday durring fun runs at the autoX. OMG it was fun! I made a horrible run and only ran two seconds slower than my fastest time. The guy that competed in it that day took second place in PAX in STU.

Punchy? Have you been in one? Granted the one I was in was auto, but still. Chargers are weak.

G8's look great up close. neighbor has one. I would love to have an 05 or 06 GTO though. I would consider an 04 GTO, but since they quit making them, I would say an 06 red GTO bone stock would be almost affordable to me.. Friend of mine has an 04 and they are quite comfortable with wrap around style seats. Plus he has a paxton blower on his, Nasty fast after 3rd gear.

I'd get another GTO in a damn heartbeat. It would have to be an '05 or an '06 and be either black or yellow.

For a while after I got my '05 Mustang, I actually considered trading it in for another GTO, but I had already fallen in love with the Mustang, so I kept it.

I had an '05 GTO before I totalled it. That damn thing was crazy fast stock. Could blow the doors off my '05 Mustang in a split second, haha. I shudder to think of how fast it would have been with a blower.

Yeah those GTOs were pretty kick butt machines. Too bad they didn't sell enough to keep them going...they're considering pulling back and scrubbing the G8 line too because sales are also pretty poor. But I hear that G8 is supposed to have a similar powerhouse to the GTO, so that plus it looks half decent...might be a fun car.

I may be wrong, but I thought the STi had a variable torque diff? With a bias toward the rear wheels normally. I know that the newer sportier Audi's have a 40/60 bias.

Subaru claims it's 50/50 with their "patented Symmetrical AWD system" every subaru says "symmetrical AWD" on the back somewhere. mine did.

G8's are gonna go the same way the new GTO's went. They are overpriced. 32 G's for 360 HP is crossing the line of affordable for the average joe. That's the reason i didn't buy a Cobra, or a Mach 1, or a GTO. I guess you gotta pay for that extra HP, That's why a Mustang GT is, IMHO, Your best bang for the buck..

Eh. A LS2 came up behind me and cruised side by side and was just staring me and my gf down on the highway so I gave him a thumb up honked 3 times and we took off. Instantlly I put like 5 cars on him. They are just too heavy.
