spike_africa 11-11-2008 06:22 AM

Shame it was changed to an auto, made that car alot cooler in my book when it was a stick. Nice car though and not to bad a price for all the good stuff your getting.

INtZ 11-11-2008 07:52 AM

have fun getting on it and trying to shift :x

Steeda97 11-11-2008 12:13 PM

You wouldnt have time to shift in that thing. Manually shifted Automatic FTW.

Indeed, but it does kinda beg the question, how comfortable is it to have the shifter that far back? That car is crazy!

Just needs a driver mod that's all. :)

SnTBakosFinest 11-11-2008 04:06 PM

lol

spike_africa 11-11-2008 05:49 PM

off topic, where do you live? And have you been back to the track with your car?

SnTBakosFinest 11-11-2008 09:02 PM

Local track is closed until february. And I live in Bakersfield, California.

I just ordered my blowdown tube, bottle heater and a new solenoid for my purge..

Probably run at race legal in fontana after its all done..

Got quite a bit more I'm going to/need to do..

Really debating on running a direct port..

SnTBakosFinest 11-11-2008 09:02 PM

Oh but I have been at the track. Ran a 14.9 or something @ 101... I spun nasty...

spike_africa 11-12-2008 05:23 AM

Sounds like the next mod needs to be a T-lok for that car. The mph is very good for a 75shot car. My friends car with an auto, cai, full exhaust,4.10's, T-lok and 100shot was going 103-104 rang so your doing good.

I ran a 14.5 @ like 95 did u run a 101 b/c of the spin?

spike_africa 11-12-2008 06:37 AM

Yes when you spin the tires you will have a higher trap speed, but a slower time. When you hook you will loose some mph, but the time will be faster.

Its probably better for taller people. I know that I have to reach for the shifter in my automatic, and when i have driven 5 speed 99-04's its pretty ridiculous how far up it is.

03_GT 11-12-2008 08:30 AM

i need to win the lotto tongiht.

08mustang_gt 11-12-2008 01:36 PM

I like the shifter position. On the '04 Cobras the shifter is too far up, I know once you slam 600+ hp to the ground with a kenne bell it's hard to shift in first through third so a manual shift automatic would be sweet especially with that much hp.
