psp or ipod touch?
have a chance to get either a psp or an ipod touch and i am not sure which one i would want. i am not a serious gamer but i do like to play. i have a xbox360 and am selling my xbox1 completely modded with about 75 games and 30 or so movies stored on the hard drive. i can get a psp or ipod touch and can't decide. ipod touch is easier to carry around in your pocket but the psp has a nice big screen. psp can do just about everything the ipod can do except streaming video on the net and ipod touch does browse a little faster. but if you get too bored and are not at home u can always kill some time with a good game on the psp. anyone have any thoughts?

i bought my wife an ipod touch, man that thing is slick.
If gaming is your first and foremost interest then the PSP is definatly what you want.
If yer looking for a bitching personal media device that is very versatile with lots of frree applications and such for just about anything imaginable, plus mp3, video, and web browsing capability the Ipod touch is what you want.

that is the first time ive ever heared that.
the Ipod touch is basically the same, except it requires a wireless network to go online instead of the 3g network and no phone capability
why do you hate your Iphone? specifically? just curious

Yup... with that safari internet browser... and you dont have to deal with the normal "mobile browsing capability' you get on google you can google **** up like nobodys business, internet runs just a tad bit slower than my desktop does but looks the same. None of that stripped down bullshit you normally see on mobile devices.
hell, ive even been on here and posted on here with it.
the thing is way slick, kicks the crap out of any other "MP3 player" on the market.

thanks for the imput guys. i borrowed my neighbors psp and i have to say it seems like a pretty neat little toy. i thought the screen and display were awesome. i know the games will never be great on a handheld but it has a really great display overall. i am leaning towards the ipod now though. i think the value of it is definately more than a psp. i can get a psp later a lot cheaper especially if i go get a use one from the game store. i did notice the internet was a little sluggish and you can't look at youtube clips or stream video. so i know youtube works on the ipod and i think i will use the music feature the most out of both of them. now i am using my cell phone for mp3 player and it can run the battery down. anyway just talking, i thank everyone for their imput.

I have a psp and iPhone and lately I've spent way more time using the iphone. Both have wifi, but the iPod is much better for internet, especially if you have wireless Internet in your house. I use the psp for gaming and movies only
