Default Stolen Ipod!

Dad-Nabbit.

Yah someone broke into my wifes car last night and jacked her 30g video ipod.

i told her several times, never leave it in the car. ugh.

Anyways, yeah, so her Ipod was jacked. Anyone here know if Apple's registration has the ability to fry that little bastard next time it gets plugged into the internet?

Also, any homeowners here have anything stolen from thier cars while parked on thier property? Im hoping our homeowners insurance will cover the cost of a replacement. But its the weekend and my insurance agent is out.

thieves.... i hate em..

Deductible is probably higher than it was worth...I'm not an insurance expert though.. sorry man. People steal anything that isn't nailed down.

That sucks!! My son got his stolen this week also. But he left it laying out in the band room at school, so my sympathy level went way down for him.

Apple can track iPods. they did a story about it on i think date line but i doubt they would do it for just anyone.

Indeed, there is a lo-jak type service available for media players as such, can't imagine it being worth it unless you plan on having your **** stolen often.

My husband's rules were #1 never bring them back to ur place and #2 never use ur real name or phone number. Fortunately, I cornered him in Central America.

Where are u in Germany, my brother is station in Spandahlem!! Odd conicidence!! I'm sure he would notice a nice mustang. He's in Air Force Intelligence an E-7, briefs pilots and crap.

i practice that same rule with locals not other military people but i learned the hard way. the chick was only a E-3 and im a E-5 and i am typically more responsible. oh well just gave me a reason to get a 120 gig gears of war zune player. i work on ramstein its about a hour away from spang. i dont usually head over to spang for any other reason than to gas up after track days at bitburg. season is over and the mustang sits in the garage i probably wont touch it till i PCS out of here in june next year.

I would look at craigslist to see if it turns up. My wife's Prada sunglasses got stolen in a bad part of town, Hialeah after the window rolled down by mistake with the trasmitter. Funny thing is we witnessed it all. I called the cops and description of perp was a Slim Shaddy wanna be with a fake Gold watch lol. I would also file a police report they may convince you otherwise as it doesnt benefit them if crime is up.

It is real hard to come into my propety as it has a concrete and iron perimeter wall that goes around the whole propery with two gate operators that are always closed. If someone climbs over it pretty much there are trespassing and are dead meat.

Dang...they used have some great beer in bitburg. You might go into withdrawal being away from the stang for that long....I wouldn't risk it.
