Bye Bye Mustang!
So,
Ive had somone interested in my car, i got confirmation today that he is going to buy it. He has already seen it and driven it, we agreed on a price, and when he gets back from Vegas next week he plans to buy my car. He had to wait a little while to clear some debts out but now it looks like she is sold.
Ya know one thing im not gonna miss?
"So, didja sell the mustang yet?" which i hear at work at least 2-3 times a day for the past 6 months.
i bet Zig hears that one a lot too.
Im paranoid to let her out of the garage now. Im worried some idiot is gonna clip my bumper or something and the sale will fall through.
lol

Congrats man, now don't drive it!!! Because some idiot will screw it up for ya, but then again, you better take it out for one last good-bye cruise, it is a very very sad thing seeing someone else drive off in your stang! Especially when you realize all the time and money you have into that car.

once i get myself dug 100% our of debt with exception of my mortgage, (which will be maybe 1 year) then im gonna save up some cash and buy an SUV for the family.
Right now we have a 120kmile 02 Saturn, the Mustang, and a 120kmile 84 honda civic. The civic is worthless for carting around the family, so is the mustang.
I figure by then with gas priices and such we can probably pick up a 00-03 ford eplorer V8 with under 80k miles for about 4 grand if we wait for a good deal. Right now they are about 5-6k grand on craigslist. everyone is dumping them because of gas prices.
Keep the saturn and honda and use them for commuters, the explorer would be the family wagon and errand runner. Since it would just be driven in town we would put maybe 2-3k miles per year on it.
Once i have a family wagon secured if both the honda and civic are stilll running good i plan to save up 2-3k and pick up a 89-92 mustang 5.0 and start sooping it up.
Prefferable a black one that is in somewhat beaten condition, cause after i get it over 450hp there wont be a damn thing apologetic about it. lol.
