03stang 09-28-2008 11:01 AM

i can get it for 16000 but what should i look for i have a 2003 gt now i was going to add a supercharger to but i know the cobra motors are alot better so i dont know what to do

buy the cobra and put a kenne bell...prob solved :)

I saw a Cobra go up to 130k once, so 80k should be fine.

03stang 09-28-2008 04:42 PM

thank you

You might try bringing down the price a little though, granted it's a termi, but start talking about the economy and whatnot. They might crack and drop a grand.

83k isn't too bad, thats like 16.6k~ year. I can't say I would buy it, even being low cost, it's just too many miles for me, even though I believe the driving avg is like 15k a year.
You got to look at it this way, with that many miles, even if it wasn't beat on you know it was driven alot! which means the paint probably has it's fair share of nicks/scratches from highway driving. But also remember its a 400hp car, you really don't buy 400hp mustang cobra with out finding out how much fun the loud pedal can be.
Also I don't know how old you are, but do realize that insuring an 03/04 cobra regardless of miles for any male under 25 who isn't married is going to be very expensive. The car may be cheap but can you afford the insurance on it?

i am old ins will not be a problem i just dont know if i should build my03 conv or buy a cobra is 38 too old

Personally, I would probably look for an '03/04 Mach1. You can find a moderately low-mile Mach for $16k or less. Granted you don't get the Supercharger, or the IRS but you'd still be getting a bad ass car that is one hell of a head turner and has a lot of potential.

JM2C.
