How fast a Trailer(mobile home) can burn down.(we just lit one up in flames)

Reading is your friend, he said $6k/mo. not week.
For those of us that have been around here for a while, we've seen these little white lies unravel themselves over time. He is always talking about how he gets $2k/mo allowance from his parents to spend on whatever he wants, etc. I'm not blasting on him, but it would be better if he'd just not talk a bunch of bull.
Personally, if I was in your position and I knew my parents were "barely making it" I wouldn't accept their money to blow on my car.
Anyway, I'll just stop this now. Cool pics, you should definitely let your local FD know next time so they can get some extra training in.

The way he typed it made it seem like he was referring to V6. My Fault.
$6k/wk is very attainable, and Like I said I would be willing to bet that there are some guys on here that pull damn near that.
Just because you make $6k/wk doesn't mean you have to go buy a Viper or a Corvette, maybe you want to make a Mustang faster than a Vette..

Yes, please explain. I'm pulling in $600/mo right now, and I'm working my butt off for that! Do you know some people involved in corporate affairs? Even if, $6k a week would be difficult. There are some (not many but some) football players (mainly kickers or rookie punters) that don't even make that.

Hey, Trust me I WISH I made $6k/wk but I'm not even close.. Hell, I'd be happy with $1k/wk.. But I'm 21 years old and just really getting started, so who knows. Maybe someday.
If I'm not mistaken, the average American working husband/wife are pulling in somewhere in the neighborhood of $100-150k/yr these days. (We need WaterDr in here on this one.) I'm really surprised how many of you are freely saying how much dinero you make, that used to be a hush-hush kind of a subject.
Anyway, $6k/wk really isn't all that hard to believe depending on your economy though. $6,000 * 4 = $24,000 * 12 = $288,000/yr.. I'm sure there are alot of folks on this forum that bring home that kind of salary especially if they are married and their significant other works as well. Again, it all depends on your local economy though too.. $200k in parts of Cali. is probably similar to something like $70,000 here in the south.

Yeah, 6k a week would be SICK! 6k a month isn't all that much, but it depends where you live. If you make 6k a month in Indiana you might be doing very well for yourself. 6k a month in California is a different story. Making 70k in Oakland, CA is like making $45k in Indianapolis,....and I'm sure Indianapolis is probably a more expensive place in Indiana.
Cool picture of the face in the smoke, but not such a smart idea to start a large fire in the middle of a grassy field.

According to the US Census Bureau in 2005:
The median household income was roughly $46,000, the median annual earnings for someone in the labor force age 25 or older were $32,000. Granted this is the median, meaning average Joe. You're talking very, very high middle-class and low high-class folks. Until you can prove me wrong, you will remain an idiot.

Uhh..my dad's an electrical engineer making around $60-70k/year, and he's been working for over 25 years.
From my experience, I have only a few friends whose parents' make over $100k a year, and their parents are the lawyer/doctor types. The other one's dad is a flight surgeon (Captain) in the Navy.
They are definitely not what I could call 'average'

My logic in this is looking at my mom who has been working in a factory for about 10 years, averaging about $32-38,000/yr then looking at my brother who currently is employed with dollar General working in their "corporate headquarters" making about $52-60,000/yr depending obviously on bonus/overtime etc. I personally consider both of these to be "average" jobs, working for someone else, not self-employed.
If you notice "king" in your quick wikipedia google search it shows an average "middle to upper middle class" self-employed person at a little better than $100,000/yr. Also, if you look carefully, your statistics are based mostly on single income we are talking on combined incomes, two or more.
This could go on and on forever, the bottom line is simple. Less money is actually more in different economies. Let's face it, if we lived in california or new york $40,000 combined income would not get you very far, but living in the central US a $40,000 income would have you living fairly comfortably in a modest home, though you would be like me working very hard to keep your ends meeting.

Dude your only 21, if you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth and from what I can see you were not being that your mom is a hard working person in every day society trying to make a living and then your brother for having a good average job. So until you are actually making some good money and living on your own, then tell us how its done...because until reality kicks in you just wont understand about priorities in general to know you can get those mods or new whatever until it way down the road with everything being paid...

Yeah, silver spoon. My dad is self-employed, my mom didn't work when I was little, parents got divorced when I was 11 years old. Have been living on my own, paying my own bills since I was 18 and have now bought and remodeled a house at 21. Get your story straight bud.
Some of you seem very bitter that you don't make enough money, well apply yourselves, work harder, go back to school, do something but don't try to take it out on anyone else.

Not complaining just saying
I work and go to school I apply myself and I make enough for my wife and I to get by for now. When I am done with my program I will make more.
I rent but thats fine for me because I owe no one on this earth a cent my debt is $0.00
Everything that I own is mine.

i was just making a point, trailers arent the safest things to live in. they can burn down in less than 4mintues to the ground. infact we had one burn down with a family in it, the mother and father got out but the kids(they had 2 or 3) burned to death and you could hear them screaming. coem to find out the mother and father were on drugs and they didnt really care what happend.
