in the next day or so i'm going to be getting a White auto 02 GT with 150,XXX on it for 6G, then transfering the after market mods from mine to the GT, then selling my 6'er that has 87,XXX miles on it.

First of all, you don't want an automatic. I have one, it sucks.

Second, for 6 grand you can make your 6 faster than any GT. GT's aren't fast at all. You have to dump ridiculous amounts of money into them to make them fast. And its not worth it.

 

150k on a 02 GT is bad news. Those motors are good for 200k but you don't know if it was taken care of during those 150,000 miles.

Transferring your mods is a good idea. If you don't want the six anymore then do that, but with a better car to start off with.

 

the used car dealer i bought my 6er from also had an sn95 gt with 80,xxx for around 7k. i think 6k for a car with 150,xxx isnt a good deal like steeda said you dont kno how well the previous owner took care of it

 

A buddy of mine is selling his 04 Anniversary GT with 110,000 miles on it for around $10,000.Very nice with my old Cobra wheels on it,lowered and a Roush front bumper,4:10's,TB,CAI,Bassani X,single chamber Flows,FRRP pullies,H&R super sports.Has tan leather and is a 5 speed.

Has alot of miles on it because he drives almost 100 miles a day back and forth to work.

 

Has an MGW shifter also.

haha, do it! i can tell you that from pictures you won't find a better car for the price!

and, i bought my 99 gt with 47,xxx for 9,500. you can do better than what you are doing. just don't get hasty and keep looking. at first i thought mine had to have been wrecked or something was wrong with it. but it came back clean and still runs great!

best advice, just keep looking, don't just settle for something.

hes got a GT.... overall 2v's aren't the most impressive things out there... thats just a fact

 

dude keep searching, a GT is fine, just get something with less miles!

 

please write properly, you come off as a 9 year old girl. doesnt have to be perfect, but it took me about 3 times to read what you said.

and post your mods, and a dyno sheet. your projected times with sticky tires makes you faster than stock cobra times (380rwhp)

 

What the **** is your major malfunction?

For 6 grand you could have a turbo kit, fuel mods, and a converter in your car and be very fast.

That sounds like a terrible deal. Plus you don't get a V8 Mustang in auto. Be a man and drive a stick. You are just throwing money out the door and I really don't think you'll be happy with a GT. Chances are you'll get one and then want to turn around and get something faster.

I say screw it and let him waste money on a GT with 150k miles on it. Then when he comes in here bitching about needing a new motor or having to spend lots of money on fixing the car we can just all laugh and ignore him.
