Mondays
Suuuuuuuuck lol..
Where to start..
Car wouldn't start first thing this morning
Boss didn't have the material I needed to do my job, so I had to work with a useless POS all day..
Drove a little manlift into a hole due to my boss not listening
Bent the rebar, and destroyed something of the plumbers when I fell into the hole..
Worked overtime on a different job..
Boss broke two light bulbs that were needed and not easy to get a hold of..
Ballast for the light STILL didn't work..
Can't figure out wtf is wrong with the motion sensor in one of the buildings..
Back to the battery
I go to get it tested, the top is trying to friggin come off, the battery started to expand due to the heat.. and it was like..6 or 7 years old anyways..
Get the new battery, go to put it in, tightening the terminals...negative terminal screw is stripped, back to autozone..
Get ONE new terminal, because the other is fine, cut the old one off, ect, ect.. start to put the other on..LOSE THE BOLT SOMEWHERE IN THE ENGINE BAY..couldn't find it, pissed off, close my hood, and it falls to the ground... got that fixed..
So I'm like...1 for 10 today...how's everyone else doin? =)

sounds rough, mines not been bad actually. I got the day off due to on a moments notice diving an hour and a half away yesterday(on a day i was supposed to be off) to help put some finishing touches on a store that had its grand opening today. I usually have tuesdays off so today has been day 1 of two days off in a row(which i hardly EVER see).

My monday went off pretty much without a hitch... only weird thing was I found out I have tomorrow off, because I have to work the morning shift on Wednesday...
Which gives me a chance to add more working vehicles to my arsenal. Getting my A4's clutch microswitch fixed and looking at purchasing a Supra turbo tomorrow for a track car.
Monday may suck but my tuesday is looking noice

LOL, This is late, but my Monday just ended a few hours ago. Started out bad, 2 machines down from undried nylon. Got 1 machine running after 45 mins of purging. All is well till around 7:00. Material bad on 2 machines. 2 hours of drying and purging, then had another go down with the same symptoms, 3 machines acting like undried nylon is the problem. 10 pm. Got 2 running ok but 1 still not running good. bad parts and nylon is acting like it's wet. Been drying it since 7 pm. Bad material I'm guessing. 3rd shift just called me a few mins ago and said he has 3 machines down. bad material/nylon. I'm off to bed now. Hope I don't even dream of work tonight.. Welcome to injection molding, how would you like your "asswhoopin" today?

But yes it has been hot this week. 98 degrees on the floor today. I've been doing this for a lot of years though, so my body is used to it. Had a good day overall today. Might even get sunday off this week.. Just got word we're getting a new 300 ton machine and a new ultrasonic welder. It will be like x-mas in my dept.. .
Plus I still have 12 paid vac days left out of 21. Gotta love the concrete jungle, or else you'll probably die in a factory..

I've never had to buy anything yet for my stang. But I have had several years experience with getting alternators/batteries/starters for all my other vehicles. You definately want to avoid a "remanufactured" anything IMHO.. Especially alternators and starters. I went through hell a few times with cheap rebuilt alternators that crap out in 1 or 2 days. Get the new **** and the warranty. Usually with a new part you won't even need the warranty.. Plus you have peace of mind. Worth the extra cash when your out the road..

LOL, Not saying all remanufactured stuff will go bad. Your chances are pretty good you'll get one thats gonna work ok. But if you do get one, then 2, that are bad, you'll be tired of it and a brand new one will look really good.. I wouldn't sweat it. My episodes with them were mainly in the 80's when everything was crap.. LOL
