Just got back from watching The Dark Knight!! man o man, that movie was sick!! I was seriously on the edge of my seat! Anyone who hasn't seen it, shall get off of their asses and see it now!!!

 

i agree..i just got back literally 5 mins ago. that right, i got home at 2:15. this movie is long as hell..but sooo worth it

Heath's performance is guaranteed to give him multiple awards. there are a few twists that kept me on the edge of my seat.

 

Best batman movie ever and one of the greatest movies every period not quite sure how they got it to be pg-13

 

They really cut out a lot of what could have been some gory scenes. Not much language, no sexual stuff that I recall. I'd let my 13 year old see it.

There was only one scence I can think of that was sexual, and it was the scene where the joker crashes bruces party looking for Henry and Bruces goes into his secret little room and those people were just getting done having sex.

I mean come on, jackie boy is the man! but heath's joker just looks so much more psychotic.

 

Heath Ledger puts Jack Nicholson to shame. it is unbelievable how evil Heath performs in this movie.

I agree.....and that's comming from watching the first one right after I saw The Dark Knight. Jack is a legend as an actor. He's been in some amazing movies. But this ONE performance from heath will go down in history!

 

What they said. If you watch clips of Jack, he does a great job, but that's just his personality in general. You can tell it's him. When you watch Heath's Joker, it's unreal. It's a totally different person and I would have never known it was him without someone telling me. I do also prefer the psycho aspect of the Joker vs. the role Nicholson played.

Jack was a funny joker, cheezy. Heath's joker is so much more deep and developed as a character. There really is no comparison.

 

I saw it today for free, and it was worth every penny I paid to see it.

But in all seriousness it was an amazing movie, the first one can't compare.

 

This movie was just plain sick! More so then Tim Burton's Batman films, alot darker! Heath Ledger portrayed "The Joker" with so much intensity it was unbelievable. The fact that Batman needs joker and in vice versa was done absolutely right in every way! Heath Ledger played "The Joker" so well it made me sick to my stomach to even watch, because he was that good, and I would hate to someone else to carry on that role. I'd probably even boycott the third movie if there ever was supposed to be someone filling that role as the joker.
Jack Nicholson may have been a legend in the first Batman movie, but Heath Ledger is simply a "God" in this one! I would not recommend this one to kids, not one bit!
It's a bit shy from a Rated-R rating, but it's close too it. It's not gory, it doesn't have any profanity, it doesn't have any nudity scenes in it, it doesn't have sex scenes in it, nor is it scary. But it is dark, way violent, action packed, keep you at the edge of you seat, filled with suspense, and alot fun to watch.

 

That video they put in that joker shot with the fake batman that was kinda on the border of a torture video made me really creeped out.... it was awesome but it was really disturbing at the same time.

 

truly an amazing movie! I have seen it once and want to see it again, it is just that good! It surpasses all expectations even with all the hype!

 

Movie was amazing but the fact that Heath passed away takes away any sequel. No one can live up to what he did in this movie. Never have i seen anything like it, amazing performance. Unreal.

 

Rumor has it that a possible replacement would be Johny Depp...he would do a very good job as the joker. Though, it wont be Heath, and it wouldnt be the same. I do believe that it would still be a good movie with Depp.

and i just got back from seeing it again! and it was just soooooooooo good the second time around.

 

Considering I couldn't even tell that is was Heath Ledger, I would watch the third movie if Johny Depp played the Joker, but ONLY and ONLY if, Depp acted, sounded, and perfected Heath's version of the Joker. Some big shoes to fill there.

 

Greatest batman movies evvaaaarrr!!!!! Ledger is the best joker so far...
