So over the course of past few weeks, I've began thinking of getting myself back another PS3, for which the first one I had traded it in. I didn't have it in me to keep playing any more games, (very expesive hobby) so I just got rid it. That was five months ago, and now I've got my craving back for it, and it's stronger then ever! With a whole bunch of new games coming out, I know i won't be bored for the next several months. I've been playing games all my life, and haven't quit since the middle of Feb 08.

I remember playing my very first Resident Evil game on the first playstation console when it came out, man was it awesome!! Tomb Raider and Tekken were right behind it! I had those 3 games, and I thought I was the ****!!

anyone else have the same problem or aleast can relate to mine?

 

buy something else for your car and it'll all go away...lol

seriously though, i can relate. i stopped playing games last year i think. however, i like to think it was just a phase i went through and grew out of it...who knows....but be sure to think it out because a ps3 is a good sum of money. not including games, extra controller, memory card, ect..

 

i always have cash stashed away for my xbox 360. in the last month i bought maybe 4 or 5 games new and 6 games used.

lol, i used to play paintball....A LOT. i would probably spend $100 every week for 2 months during the good times to play (spring, autumn, skipping summer).

I wake board everynow and then, not any good, but i like to board.

Fishing is a great hobby, just chill in my grady white with the grand pa, reminds me, gotta get some pics with the boat this weekend....

I have a PS2 that i could play maybe 5 hours straight of just NCAA football then i got a Xbox 360 for x-mas and got bored with it. I havent played it for prob. 3 months. And im gettin the Mustang bug again.

 

I started out playing pong. then upgraded to tank, space invaders, asteriods, all the cool atari games. I still think they should remake "Joust", Best game ever, They could make it multiplayer. That would be fun.. LOL,,

mines is all most 9000.

 

i could care less about the achievement score...its pointless to have and i hate it. its 4215 and most of it is from guitar hero 2, halo 3, and lost odyssey.

 

I play Halo3 with my buds, its a lot of fun and never gets old. Its just another way to hang out. If your playing games by yourself that gets kind of old.

 

+1, exactly why i pretty much play rock band. lol. unless im practicing a song that is utterly hard (i play expert on drums) im am with 3 other people and were rocking out!

 

if online play never existed i dont see myself ever playing a video game besides guitar hero/rock band

 

I used to be a devoted fan of online racing. Me and ny buds formed a team and everything. We had a blast with weekend racin tournaments and had other teams involved. But all the crying and whining bout who is doing this and that actually closed down my favorite game which was Motor City Online. It was online play only, but you could race time trials and stuff to get top scores and MCO money to use in the game. Well some people started actually selling their fake money on e-bay for real money. I mean one guy I knew actually made over a thousand bucks by selling his whole profile. But they eventually sucumbed to the whiners and EA shut down the servers.. I haven't found a game I like online since. We used to drag race with Burnout in the old days but they shut down those servers too. Now I just race the AI stuff and got no lag from dummies without cable.. LOL

My son plays online stuff on his 360 and he swears he's the baddest *** on any game ever.. He gets banned alot cause he got a potty mouth.. That's my Boy.. He cusses good for a 16 year old..

I highly recommend GTA 4. So much fun. Especially playing online...

 

I seen GTA 4 and looks like the master piece of art!! Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Tom Clancy's Rainbox: Las Vegas were pretty good games too.

 

Video games is a bigger industry then movies. I wouldnt exactly call it a nerdy thing. Now if your any age, sitting in your moms basement playing dungeons and dragons or magic still, then thats nerdy. I still don't see anything special about a PS3. I wouldn't buy one game for it. Any game thats on 360 and PS3 has been reviewed better on the 360.
