Sorry for a focus on me thread but I'm getting married in 1 week and I'm a little excited about it. My future wife and I have been together for 3 1/2 years and have been engaged for a year now and the big day is almost here I can't wait till May 16.

The honeymoon is a week in a resort in Puerto Vallarta Mexico

It's really great to see men who don't put marriage down. Most of my fiance's friends tell him not to ever get married. I just think they're douchebags...and jaded ones at that.

I'm sure it will be wonderful and I'd love to see some pictures afterwards.

I almost forgot the bachlour (<---can't spell) party is tomorrow and it will be awesome becuase it just so happens to coincide with an autocross so I get to race and then go get **** faced.

 

I'm not too familiar with Jenison.. I live southeast of GR. But I have been out to Wyoming a few times.. so I'm sure I could find my way around.

The party was last satuday when I get some pics of the autoX we went to before the drinking started I will post the pics there is a video of the race too but I still have to figure out how to post that.

 

Congrats man. I just got married April 19th. it's a pretty good feeling I must say.

 

I can't wait. Right now I'm sittin back and having a beer before I go to sleep just thinking about how I won't be single tomorrow night.

 

and the count down begins! I was in a complete daze during my wedding. It wasn't cause I was hungover or anything like that....I was just in awe with everything and it went by so freaking fast.

Here is one thing you should do....after the reception starts turning into a party and everyone is dancing and having a good time, take your wife and step back from the party for a minute and just watch everyone and soak it all in.

 

I would have to agree. I wish I would have done that. I was amazed at how many people were up dancing. Pretty much the whole night almost everyone there was up dancing having a good time. Our DJ was thoroughly impressed. We had about 240 people there and the bar said they served about 650 beers that night. There was also a crap load of wine and if you wanted to buy them, mixed drinks.

 

Sounds like good advice I will definately keep it in mind.
