Default Big weight off my shoulders!

Took our boy into the cardiologist at Childrens Hospital. They had wanted to wait to replace his faulty replacement heart valve untill he was 20lbs or a year old. he will be 11months in a few days and he is 19.5lbs.

we were going to see if we could go ahead and get this done in may before his medicade ran out, he is also on my insurance plan at work but that will cost about 2,000 out of pocket for the operation, while 2,000 aint bad for a heart surgery, 2,000 is 2,000.

So we just heared back from the cardiologist who talked to the surgeon and they want to put this off for another year and then think about doing the surgery, which is good cause next year i can bolster my flex spending account at work to help pay for the surgery.

anyways, we dont have to worry about this for another year

Are you serious? "Others peoples kids" are the best, cause you dont have to deal with thier ****.

Good news bro. Glad to hear also you are taking advantage of flex spending account. Money well spent there. You can always get your money back from that deal. We send in every dollar we spend on things like aspirin, to any prescriptions that may occur over the year..

Your son is gonna be ok I think. Just look how happy he looks in the pics you post. Hope you are coping ok with this as well. Take care of yourself too. It's gotta be hard to feel so helpless when it comes to your kids health. I couldn't imagine being in your shoes. Just keep loving your family, and don't give up hope..

Well I'm not a big fan of kids period. Ya know when people show you pictures of their kid.. I usually have that weird moment where I don't know what to say..cuz I don't find their kid cute at all lol. It was supposed to be a compliment because Logan is one of the few that I find to actually be cute. I don't have kids yet.. so I'll let you know sometime down the road how I feel about them haha.
