I wonder if they would be as popular as they are now if Brad Bowell didn't OD on heroin...he died when they were first getting big. I wonder if he would've continued to make records to make money instead of his love for the music.

I was wondering that too. To be honest though, I guarantee there's thousand of Sublime fans who don't even realize Brad OD'd. They probably just think Sublime stopped making music.

There are a lot of people who don't know the first thing about the bands they listen to. Similar to voting uninformed, they could be supporting something they are completely against. Everyone I talk to who listens to RATM and Audioslave seems dumbfounded when I tell them that Audioslave is RATM with Chris Cornell from Soundgarden in place of De La Rocha. I am so glad that RATM is back together though, and I can only hope that they decide to record another album.

I dont care about the lead singers name. Or the fact that a lead singer may be from a different band. If the music sounds good, then I shall listen to it.
